The ‘Who Am I? Who I Am’ exhibition has now concluded, our three-day showcase exploring what it means to be Black and British. Told through the lens of @ryanstatic_ and @archievedds they delivered tension, nuance and a level of honesty in their work you only get when an artist refuses to stay unseen.

@h.artslane became an extension of these artist’s experiences marking the beginning of a new chapter for The Middle Man and is the first of many projects where we produce, curate, and amplify the voices that matter.

The future is wide open and we’re stepping into it with intention. by @archievedds

We’re days away from ‘Who Am I, Who I Am’ my debut as a curator and a bold exploration of identity, artistry, and duality featuring @ryanstatic_ and @archievedds.

What started as a simple moment of support for a friend has grown into something way bigger and it all comes to life next week at @h.artslane, New Cross (Fri 14th–Sun 16th Nov).

Spaces are limited but I hope to see everyone at the opening evening on Friday 14th.

For months, I worked on this visual storytelling piece to explore the history and resilience of Black community and culture—a diverse and vibrant collective shaped by shared struggles, triumphs, and an enduring spirit of empowerment.

By highlighting themes of identity, strength, and resilience, this project connects Black culture in America and Britain, revealing the parallels in our history and the power of our progress.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this to life—the actors, the lighting assistants, and those who worked with my unusual sound requests. Your support means everything.
