In honor of World Architecture Day, I’m excited to share a Tenant Improvement project that marked an important milestone for me.

After earning my Master of Architecture from @unlarchitecture, I began working full-time for @jeoconsulting as an Architectural Designer.

A recent highlight has been seeing Le Quartier open their Edgewood location in Lincoln, a project I had the opportunity to help design from concept through construction.

It’s rewarding to see users interact with the space, and I’m excited to continue to work on projects that impact the community.

ARCH_511: Adv. Arch Design II // SoMa Station

Located between Gene Leahy Mall and the Old Market in downtown Omaha, SoMa Station aims to solve post-pandemic vacancy in office buildings through adaptive reuse.

SoMa Station contains experience-based programs relating to the site context, along with a residential tower to bring people back to the Omaha urban core.

This market hall, located in Omaha, Nebraska will serve as a gateway to the historic downtown Benson neighborhood while also functioning as an incubator space through community start-up businesses, vendors, a workshop, and a performance theatre. The market hall will offer the diverse voices of the surrounding community an accessible and inclusive public forum space to address the needs of the local urban fabric. by @architect_nico

The facility will serve as an active dairy barn on the University of Nebraska - East Campus. It will aim to study the emerging sector of dairy farming and robotics. This building blends traditional midwestern barn form with contemporary materiality and structural systems. This building contains a functional dairy barn, classrooms, a cafe, and a greenhouse. by @architect_nico

ARCH_311 SITUATE - Fall Studio P3 Final - Research Campus

The final project for fall studio is located south of Valentine, NE in the Valentine Natl. Wildlife Refuge. The agglomeration of structures will be used to house researchers studying the resiliency of Sandhills native prairie grasses.

The structures will also provide a welcome center and gallery for visitors to the Sandhills. by @architect_nico
