The suspension build is officially DONE and ready for @tundrastosedona 🤘

At 8,100 lbs fully loaded, this truck has come a long way from the Tundra I started with. With roughly 1,200–1,500 lbs of added weight over the bed, getting the suspension properly set up for the weight while still performing off-road was the biggest goal with this final round of upgrades.

Huge shoutout to @archive_garage for helping out the build with their XD rear leaf springs and U-bolt flip kit. These springs completely changed how the rear of the truck carries the constant weight while still giving me the travel and control I wanted off-road. Stoked to finally have the rear suspension built around what this truck actually weighs and how I use it.

Also a huge thank you to @lktechnicaservices for helping get everything installed and getting the ICON 3.0s properly tuned for this heavy pig. 😂 The difference in how controlled the truck feels now is night and day.

Up front we’re also running @perryparts bump stops, and while everything was apart we refreshed the front end with OEM lower control arms, steering rack, brake lines, and added Solid Off-Road motor mounts after finding out the factory mounts were absolutely smoked.

This wasn’t about making the truck taller. It was about making an 8,100-lb overland Tundra actually work.

Now it’s time to put it to use. 🤘

The rear end is finally coming together with the new Archive Garage XD leaf pack and ICON RXT 2.5s. Huge shoutout to @archive_garage for getting us dialed in with the new XD leaf pack and answering every question along the way. This is my second build running his leaf packs, and there’s a reason I came back.

Also a huge thanks to @lktechnicaservices for all the knowledge, install work, and helping us get this setup properly dialed!

Part 3: full front suspension breakdown—and hopefully some dirt testing to see what this new setup can actually do. 👀
