It’s been a while, but we are back! These past couple of months we were able to assist 3 separate people with medical & financial related challenges. We’ve come to realize that providing families with food baskets is not sustainable in the long run. Given that, we are pivoting more to catering to personal needs that can create long term change in individuals lives, specifically health related financial burdens. Thanks again to all the beautiful people that have supported this cause & continue to support it. I will never be able to thank you guys enough❤️‍🩹 by @archiveceline_syr

100 bed mats and 75 blankets have been distributed to displaced families in Suwayda, Syria.

Thank you again for everyone who made this possible. I love my community so much ❤️‍🩹 by @archiveceline_syr

$1,000 from our fundraiser was sent to my friend Yazan, whose family has been working on the ground to provide food and relief to families under siege.

Here’s a look at them assembling 100 food baskets for displaced families in Suwayda.

📍Suwayda, Syria 9/16/2025 by @archiveceline_syr

————————————————————————————————

I began this fundraiser last year with the goal of supporting Syrian families struggling with poverty and displacement. I was able to complete the first round of distributions in October. But in the past few months, the situation in Suwayda has gotten worse. Druze are being ethnically cleansed and murdered defending their land.

While I had originally planned to travel to Syria this summer to personally distribute food care packages, the ongoing violence has made that impossible. In the meantime, the fundraiser will remain open.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this cause and continues to support it. Your generosity means so much to me and those receiving the aid.

This summer, I will continue the fundraiser I began in October to provide relief for families in Syria. Donations will go directly toward creating essential baskets filled with food and supplies for families in Al Suwayda, Syria. Every dollar makes a difference in providing immediate support to those who need it most.

Syria’s ongoing economic crisis has left 90% of the population living below the poverty line, making it incredibly difficult for families to afford basic necessities. Suwayda, a city surrounded by smaller villages, faces additional challenges as elderly individuals and those with disabilities often struggle to travel to the city for work opportunities, leaving them even more vulnerable.

This fundraiser is a tangible way to create real, on-the-ground change. I will be physically distributing these baskets myself, ensuring that the goods reach the people who need them most. As I did last year, I will be present in the community, working directly with families to make sure your donations have a lasting impact.

Special thank you to @falasteen.favorites and @florecer_chi for helping me raise funds in October🤍
