Today on All Souls' Day, we remember and pray for all the faithful departed. 🕯️
⁣
As Catholics, we believe our prayers can help the souls being purified on their journey to the fullness of God's presence. 🙏 Let us offer a prayer, attend Mass, or remember a loved one by name today, trusting in Christ's promise of eternal life. by @archkck

Happy All Saints’ Day!
⁣
Today we rejoice with the great cloud of witnesses who surround us and intercede for us. From the well-known saints to the holy souls known only to God, we give thanks for their faithful example and their prayers.
⁣
May their lives inspire us to become saints right where we are, serving God and one another with joy.

All saints of God, pray for us. 🙏 by @archkck

We hope you have a happy and safe Halloween! 🎃

As families enjoy costumes, treats and time together, may we also remember that this evening begins the celebration of All Hallows' Eve, leading us into the beautiful feasts of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. 🙏 by @archkck

For 150 years, Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Kansas City, Kansas, has been a powerful presence on Southwest Boulevard. 🙏

On a crisp October weekend, parishioners and community leaders came together to celebrate the momentous anniversary. 🍂

The Oct. 17 and 18 celebrations held at the church honored the history, mission and legacy of Holy Name, which was established in 1876 as a mission church. In 1899, it was converted into a parish, and Holy Name Catholic School opened in 1901. 🙌

Beginning with Halloween (All Hallows' Eve) and continuing through All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day, these holy days remind us that we belong to a family much larger than ourselves: the Communion of Saints.

Take time to ask the saints for intercession, remember loved ones who have died, and renew your hope in Christ's promise of everlasting life. by @archkck

Today we honor Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles. While little is known about their lives compared to some of the other apostles, we know their courage and faith helped build the foundation of the Church we belong to today.

St. Jude has long been known as the patron saint of hopeless causes. Let us remember today that no situation is beyond God's grace and mercy! by @archkck

Today we celebrate the Memorial of St. Anthony Mary Claret, a Spanish archbishop whose zeal for the Gospel led him to preach, teach, and serve tirelessly wherever God called him. He believed faith should transform hearts and inspire action, showing us that every Christian is called to witness to Christ's love.

Through his intercession, may we have the courage to share our faith with joy, compassion, and conviction. by @archkck
