One of our favorite Rummel traditions is Grandparents Day, when grandparents join their Raider for lunch during the school day, catered by Rummel. Our 8th graders enjoyed their lunch in September, and today it was the 9th graders’ turn.

Our Grandparents Days continue throughout the year:
📅 Sophomores: November 12
📅 Juniors: January 27
📅 Seniors: February 24

Thank you to all of our grandparents for the love, faith, and support you give our Raiders. We can’t wait to see you on Severn Avenue!

🏛️ Our Raiders spent time digging into history in Mrs. Carmadelle's World History class today.

As archaeologists in a Roman Empire simulation, they chose their tools, decided where to dig, and rolled the dice to see what they'd discover, earning points along the way.

They finished by asking what artifacts reveal about daily life in Rome, and what people might someday find that we left behind. by @archrummel

Our theology teachers were learning alongside our Raiders this week!

Mr. Rodrigue and Mr. del Rio traveled to St. Louis, Missouri, to attend the Augustine Institute’s High School Theology Teacher Conference. This year’s conference theme was, “Jesus Christ, Physician of Our Souls and Bodies.”

Thank you, Mr. Rodrigue and Mr. del Rio, for investing in your own faith and bringing new ideas back to our Raiders on Severn Avenue. by @archrummel

Since October is the month of the Rosary, Mr. Rodrigue took his Theology classes to our Rosary and Prayer Garden today, where he talked with students about the Rosary, the garden, and the different mysteries. Together, they then prayed the Rosary and reflected on the Sorrowful Mysteries, the set traditionally prayed on Tuesdays.

What a beautiful use of a space created in memory of Brother John Fairfax, FSC.
