The 2026/27 World Cup Dreams grant class is here! 🇺🇸

This year, we’re proud to support 98 athletes and three Nordic programs across alpine, freestyle, and cross country skiing, from young athletes beginning their competitive journeys to athletes racing on the World Cup stage.

▪️22 ARCO U16 athletes
▪️38 T2 On The Rise athletes
▪️24 T2 World Cup athletes
▪️14 Freestyle athletes
▪️3 T2 XC Teams: SMS-T2, Bridger Ski Foundation Pro Team & Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation Gold Team

Every one of these grants is about the same thing: helping talented athletes stay in the sport, keep progressing, and see how far they can go without finances standing in the way.

We’re incredibly proud of this year’s group and can’t wait to follow along all winter.

📣 2026/27 SEASON GRANTS ARE NOW OPEN!! 📣

Applications for World Cup Dreams Foundation’s 2026/27 grant cycle are officially live.

▪️ World Cup Grant – For National Team and Independent athletes competing on the FIS World Cup or Continental Cup circuits. Designed to help skiers break into the top 30 — the level where financial stability begins.

▪️ On the Rise Grant – For U.S. Alpine athletes born 2004–2009 not on the National Team. If you’re a rising competitor with big goals and a passion for giving back, this need-based grant is for you. Focused on growing the number of Americans ranked in the top 300 in the world.

▪️ ARCO Grant – Founded by Olympian @riverradamus and offered in partnership under the WCDF umbrella, this grant supports U16 athletes (born 2010–2011) with both merit and financial need. More than just funding — ARCO offers mentorship and education to help athletes and families make the most of every local opportunity.

▪️ T2 XC Team Grant – Supporting top NCAA and U23 cross-country skiers aiming to train with elite teams in the summer months. Grants assist professional athletes on teams like Stratton Mountain School T2 XC and Bridger Ski Foundation T2 XC with coaching, housing, travel, and training support — building world-class training groups together.

▪️ T2 Freestyle Grant – Supporting U.S. freestyle athletes competing at the Nor-Am level and beyond who demonstrate both financial need and a commitment to the broader freestyle community. Building on the legacy of the ID One Foundation and T2 Foundation, this grant helps offset the costs of training, travel, and competition while supporting the next generation of World Cup and Olympic hopefuls.

🚨GRANTS ARE OPEN🚨

We are thrilled to announce the Sustainable Pipeline of Giving is now open for applications!

ARCO U16 Grant (14-15 years old)—Initiating Support: This is our launch point, providing vital support through the ARCO program. We aim to identify athletes with “World Cup” potential and support passionate, high-character athletes who need assistance to participate in the sport.

T2 On the Rise Grant (16-20 years old) – Propelling Talent Forward: The second phase of support, propelling talented athletes through the FIS years. This grant provides the resources necessary to bridge the gap and push athletes toward the U.S. Ski Team (USST) or Division I teams.

T2 World Cup Grant (USST D-B teams + Independent WC racers) – Sustained Support: The third phase, continuing to aid athletes through the T2 WC grant until they achieve a top 25 ranking. This ensures that financial constraints do not hinder their ascent to international success.

T2 Cross Country Team Grant: Supporting XC teams, allowing athletes to train as a group and elevate team performance. This grant is based on the team’s values of giving back to the local community, achieving success, and inspiring the development of talent.

WCDF’s sustainable giving pipeline is strategic and data-driven. Together, we can keep talent in the pipeline and create a legacy of champions, turning dreams into reality by empowering the next generation of skiing stars.

ARCO Camp #1 in the books! thank you to everyone, coaches, athletes, sponsors, and donors, who worked so hard to make it a success. of the things i’ve been able to do in my career, this may be the one of which i’m most proud. can’t wait to follow the journeys of these young people and see the skiers and humans they become!

officially half way through the first ever @arcofoundation camp! 16 athletes, 2 sessions a day, 5 days, ZERO (0) COST TO THE ATHLETES.

i don’t think we’ve screwed up the next generation of American skiing too bad yet but check back soon!
