Lil' photo dump from Tournament of Champions! ✨️
I sure didn't know what this year had in store for me when I first applied to the preliminaries in the beginning of last summer, and then heard my name being called both in the prelims and the finals itself - my brain short-circuited completely (which was evidently described by @kaesecake as the most hilarious facial expression 😂🙈)

I had so much support through the whole journey, including from my friends - most of all @siiricosplay who kept me grounded, hydrated and well taken care of - and also the organizers in the Finnish team of @matsuconfi , without forgetting our hosts in @yunicon_wien and their helpers ✨️

Also a huge round of applause to my fellow winners @pixiecostumery @namineyy @silestiacosplay @tanysa_cosplay @macdaroni.art
and @tsuki_costume_creations who won the grand champion! ✨️✨️

Thank you to our judges @matthew__barry @effymia @spicythaidesign @nightmare_illusion and @_likelinda_ , and also thank you for all the feedback! I'll try to keep growing even more as a cosplayer 💜✨️

Lastly but CERTAINLY not least, thank you to all my fellow contestants, it was such a pleasure to meet all of you, and connect through our mutual love for cosplay - it was lovely to be able to see all your craftsmanship up close! 💜✨️

Stage picture dump, incoming! ✨️🤺

I'll start with the remaining preparations on the costume soon, including still dirtying up the armor a little more so I'm a proper mess all around - It's not visible in most pictures, but in the last ones here you can see I did dirty up any visible skin, including my face. Had to clean up a bit afterwards though before going to a store because it was ✨️a look✨️, especially once the wig came off 😂😂

"You've got a good heart."

First proper pic of my S2 Act 3 Vi! 🥊 The place had one room with a fancy couch and a graffiti wall, and we felt it was a perfect combo of both Piltover and Zaun aesthetics 🤭😌💥 Getting a good (low) angle was a struggle though, but @sunshne.nat twisted herself into a pretzel on the ground to achieve this great shot 💪🏻💥

Oh hi, more Knight Vi? Coming right up! I really do love the photos we took earlier this year with @parkkosenmikko, makes me feel so badass ⚔️ ✨️

Also a funny coincidence but after the photoshoot I started reading The Hound of Noxus (AO3), and this look could also sorta work as a version of Vi in that AU as she's wearing Noxian-appropriate colors, red specifically 😆⚔️ (Recommending that fic, just be prepared to have your heart torn out and then stomped on before being put back in for more, because BOY is it one hell of an emotional, well-written rollercoaster 😭🙏🏻)

This was one of the final photos we hurried to take at the last minute before we had to leave - The place we took the photos in had this corridor with really cool UV reactive paintings and blacklights, and it made certain colors pop and glow in a really interesting way (including Jinx's wig!). I also wanted to have the butterfly prop visible in some pictures since I made it specifically for this photoshoot 😆✨️🦋

Some solo pics of my Circe from Tracon Saturday! 🔮✨️

The placeholder wig was a fun thing to make but it's already been mostly disassembled as it's actually Nina's wig, and was only meant as the quick temporary replacement (wasn't so "quick" in the end ahaha) 😆🤣

It was a multiple braid styling to keep most of the hair in place, and the whole wig including the braid was covered in multiple hairnets (except the front curls), since I needed the wig and styling to stay absolutely put - I had to whip my cape off right there on stage and I couldn't check if everything still was as it should be, and then had to get the cape back on (again on stage) in a few seconds, so it couldn't be anything too big or on the way.

Overall I feel it worked really well considering I improvised the whole style as I went 😆👌🏻

"Are you helping me?" Vasya asked in surprise.
Ded Grib said: "You gave me tears and a flower. I will follow you, and not the Bear. I am first."
"First to what?"
"To take your side." 🍄‍🟫🍂🍁

It's been way too long since I've cosplayed my darling Vasya, but yesterday we had a photoshoot with friends! So far I haven't come across a cosplay of her with her short hair, and I decided that this version of her deserves some love as well 🧡
Also I made a Ded Grib/Grandfather Mushroom doll for Vasya already yearrrrs ago (I customise dolls every now and then haha) but somehow never ended up using it for a photoshoot - now was the perfect time! 🍄‍🟫

Have another picture of Rapunzinx(?) 💥 There was a room filled with spray paint cans that was definitely very Jinx appropriate - I did bring my own spray can (with the security ring still on) tho, just to make sure we wouldn't disturb the actual displays by moving the existing ones 🤭

(The Jinx text was added in after editing and was not a part of the actual wall art made by the artists in Graffitilandia)

Oh look, Moorna from Tracon's Friday! ✨️
It's been way too long since I've cosplayed her last, but I'm so glad I managed to get a more color-accurate wig this time around 🤭✨️ Definitely need to take more pictures too, preferably with a certain fellow named Caidas 😏

A small clip from our EPIC The Musical performance at Tracon - Our group had way too much fun coming up with all the silly ideas 😆😆✨️

(Also fun fact, while it looks like Circe is tripping Ody here, that was entirely unplanned: I was only moving my leg into the position for @zumie to grab onto it, but it actually ended up looking like I'm intentionally tripping her - which honestly ended up working in our favor because it fits SO well with the scene 🤣👌🏻 Happy accidents and all that!

Circe: me (@arctica_leaena)
Odysseus: @zumie

Video taken by @kurrepupu 💜 (I edited a bit of the soundtrack on top)
