screaming the lyrics to labour with thousands of girls at osheaga literally altered my brain chemistry forever 🏹🩸
there is truly no feeling like being in a festival crowd when the collective female rage just takes over. standing there watching isabella and paris paloma perform labour live felt like an ancient ritual mixed with the ultimate girlhood healing moment. 2016 me would have been spellbound, but 25-year-old me had actual chills running down her spine. the harmonies, the raw emotion, every single person in the crowd yelling every word with their whole chest—absolute witchy, cathartic cinema. my voice is gone, but the feminine energy is at an all-time high.
what is the ONE song that instantly taps into your rawest emotions when you hear it live? tell me yours in the comments 👇 by @areallyrandomkid

hearing “let’s work it out on the remix” while floating 100 feet in the air was a spiritual reset 🎡💚

core memory officially unlocked at osheaga 2026. 15-year-old me was dramatic-lip-syncing lorde in her bedroom, convinced nobody understood female friendship dynamics quite like ella did. fast forward a whole decade to me sitting on top of the ferris wheel, festival lights glowing across the entire park, watching her perform *girl, so confusing* live from the sky. hearing that track hit the crowd while looking down at the entire festival was pure cinematic brat-summer-nostalgia overload. teenage angst fully healed, adult brain thoroughly altered.

be honest: is *girl, so confusing* with lorde the greatest pop collab remix of our generation, or does another track take the crown? debate me in the comments 👇 by @areallyrandomkid

we get one life and i’m simply refusing to choose between my 7am forest walks and my 2am mainstage energy 🌿🪩

a few years ago i thought i had to pick an aesthetic and stick to it—either full-blown earthy granola girl living in the woods or bass-chasing festival queen screaming every lyric. but honestly? the magic is right in the middle. there’s nothing like rotting in nature, listening to the birds, and drinking matcha in total silence to reset your soul... and then running off to a crowded field a week later to lose your mind to live music under strobe lights. dual-personality lifestyle is the ultimate life hack. touch grass, dance on grass. balance is restored, inner child is thriving.

are you team peaceful wilderness cabin getaway, or team loud mainstage crowd in a glitter top? let me know your vibe in the comments 👇 by @areallyrandomkid

2016 me would literally pass out on the spot if she saw this lineup 😭✨

healing my high school soul at osheaga this year, it’s not even funny. 15-year-old me was sitting in her bedroom replaying pure heroine on repeat, dramatic screaming zara larsson in the shower, and acting like mother mother was written specifically for her inner monologue. fast forward a whole decade to 2026 and getting to scream-sing lorde, mother mother, and zara larsson live—PLUS seeing paris paloma and between friends all in one weekend?! absolute cinema. main character energy fully restored, 2016 tumblr core is thriving.

which artist on this lineup would have completely reset your 2016 brain? drop your holy grail artist in the comments 👇 by @areallyrandomkid

10-year-old me sitting in class thinking this was the future we were building… 💔🇮🇳

Growing up, school taught us to be proud. We drew the national flag on the back of our notebooks, memorized the constitution, and believed in the dream of an equal, fair, and thriving nation. We truly thought the future was bright.

Seeing the youth and students on the streets of India today fighting for their basic rights, education reforms, and accountability hits completely differently. It makes you realize how far the reality is from the dream we were promised as kids.

To everyone on the ground using their voice: stay safe. The 10-year-old in all of us is still hoping for a better tomorrow. 🕊️✨

Did the vision of the future you learned in school match the reality you live in today? Drop your thoughts below 👇
