And 3am breakdown parties

When I became a mother, those women carried me through some of the hardest, loneliest and most beautiful moments of my life. They made me laugh when I wanted to cry. Reassured me when I was convinced I was getting everything wrong. And reminded me that I wasn’t alone in my fears

One day I realised how lucky I was.

Not everyone has that.

Not everyone has a village.

A Reel Space was born from that realisation. The cinema club, the conversations, the classes I hope to run one day… they’re all built around one simple idea:

Parenthood was never meant to be done alone.

Reel Kids Is Moving….

…. to SUNDAYS.

We noticed how many families came along to our last screening, and how many of you told us weekdays just don’t work. We listened.

So we’re changing the day.

All ages are welcome. Bring the big kids, the little kids, the babies — bring them as they are.

A little reminder of the Reel Kids rule: this is not a place for quiet. Kids can move, talk, play, snack and be kids.

No shushing. No apologising. ❤️

Just help us keep an eye on our littlest Reel Kids. It’s dimly lit, busy and there are plenty of tiny people about — so let’s keep each other safe.

Come as you are. Exhale. 🔴
