“amo caipirinha” wise words spoken by @yungwalcott in the latest @nextofkinent offering:

“sambas e caipirinhas” the EP is now streaming on all platforms. Recorded during their trip to Rio de Janeiro back in March of 2026, the duo sought to encapsulate the energy of the trip in a single project. Their goal was to make a “sonic souvenir” of sorts, that they could return to for the rest of their lives. One that could transport them and their listeners back to a moment, and the very special land they have yearned to visit since yutes. Each song was conceptually created in impromptu moments throughout their trip, captured on voice memos and expanded via production from @areke47. Inspired by pogode, bossa nova and samba the two artists show their respects to the culture that has inspired them for so much of their lives. Whether through Ronaldinho or Seu Jorge, or Juliana Nalu, the beauty of Brazil is boundless but somehow they skillfully summarize it in a single phrase: “sambas e caipirinhas” we hope you enjoy listening to this one as much as they enjoyed making it.

Jah Jah, thank you for the light of life. This sacred vital current that runs through and animates all things from earthly organisms to the infinitismal quanta. Give us the courage us to live on the very edge of this signal and let it carry us to where we’re meant to be. Everyday is a marvel, when the time is taken to stop and look around. In our midst, God Guide and protect us from the biggest threat, ourselves. n Empower us to expel all unwelcome entities from setting up their dwelling in your house. No curses work, no worries or concerns hold any weight with our sturdy understanding of You, at our side.
