Life As A Creative Director : ART'PERO 3
For @cabinet_de_sciencage

The third edition of ART'PERO was centered around PHOTOGRAPHY.
The goal was to showcase the diversity of the photography spectrum and, for once, place these artists at the forefront of performances in a cultural event.
The performances were tied to an exhibition; first exhibition for these young talents from the emergent photographic scene of Yaoundé.

LOOKING FOR LOVE is an Afro-pop album dropped on Feb 14, 2025 and explores Smelo's ties with his country and origins.

WOLIMA - WOMEN LIVES MATTER
Performative night

WOLIMA is a multidisciplinary program founded by myself in 2024, which aims at showcasing women perceptions on themselves and their contexts.

This season was centered around F*micides and women mental health awareness.
And this performative night was the second part of the three-sided program this season, in collaboration with @cabinet_de_sciencage

The aim was to question and attack people's unability to react... question not the victims, not even the immediate perpetrators but the silence of those witnessing.
A lot of tears as more awareness was raised.

Les violences basées sur le genre restent une réalité au Cameroun, et les féminicides qui sont régulièrement découverts en sont une preuve flagrante.

Le changement commence par de petites actions que chacun de nous peut mettre en place, dès aujourd’hui.
