Venezuelan and Latin American Gourmet Cuisine in Western Carolinas.

$Today is a very sad day for my heart. May 7th, at 8:15 am I suffered a bad fall in which i completely tore my meniscus, my ACL, fractured my shin bone on top of my knee joint, sprained other ligaments and strained other muscles around my knee. My knee also popped out of place and it was the most painful experience of my life. Besides the physical pain is the mental pain that comes with it. Im suffering serious PTSD from the fall. Also, from being so independent driving, cooking, prepping, serving and dealing with my amazing customers to being in a wheelchair and now crutches going through therapy now awaiting surgery. My recovery will be a year before I go back to my old self. Ive literally been forced to be in time out and rest which is something I didn't know how to do. My husband that has been my rock through all of this, he convinced me that its time to hang my apron! Today we sold our beautiful Arepitas On The Go food truck which we poured our everything to this business. From a vision board to our reality. We have cried tears of joy, sadness, so much sweat and unbelievable hard work of 18 hour days, wineries, breweries, weddings, fairs, private events, feeding the homeless.. you name it, we've done it! Its all come to an end. I just want to say thank you to all my supporters that believed in us from day one! I hope my made up recipes hold a place in your heart like you guys all hold a place in mine! A special thanks to my rock, my amazing husband that has held my hand and been by my side through all of this, my twins that help me in everything you can ever think of and their daily love heals my heart, my best friends Theresa and Lila that are constantly on top of me to make sure im ok. I love you all and after my recovery I plan to continue my passion in the kitchen but through private catering ONLY. Until we meet again. Thank you all so very much! I love you all! Forever GRATEFUL 🙏♥️ #arepitasonthego by @arepitasonthego$
