What was just an idea, became a mission. Something that was bigger than ourselves. To bridge the gap between real life & Secondlife. To actually take what we emulate to heart, and serve those that need our help the most!

Over the holidays we started a canned food drive. We created an initiative that allowed Secondlife Greek letter organizations to give back to their real life communities during a time of crisis. And also over the holidays sold plushies and the donations would have gone to one of three programs. Victoria’s Academy a daycare center located in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Owned by Mr. And Mrs. Frazier, they have been a pillar in my community. Providing safe childcare, transportation if need be, and being able to take some of the weight off of working parents shoulders. They have been such an inspiration to me.

When I called and spoked to Mrs. Frazier directly, and told her all of what we have done. She told me “And I know exactly which parent to give this money to.” The parent WE ALL helped is a hard working mother of 6 children. All of which have attended or is currently attending Victoria’s Academy.

We would like to congratulate again @honey.nuttcheerios @zetaetaepsilon_orishas.sl for winning the $200 cash prize for most recorded canned good donations made. @viifenti for giving the blueprint on how drives work in real life. @tayo.sl for your support & making the plushies happen. The Brothers of @kappathetaphi.sl for their support in the cause. And above all, I would like to thank the Greek Community, and everyone that participated.
This is what it’s about, making a difference in someone’s life. Let’s continue to FEED THE BLOCK! by @areskane.sl

Happy Father’s Day to all the brothers out there. Today we celebrate more than just being fathers — we celebrate the strength, sacrifice, and love that comes with the role.

Being a father is about showing up when it’s hard, leading by example, protecting what matters most, and building a legacy that lives beyond us. Our children may not always remember every lesson we teach, but they will remember the time we gave, the love we showed, and the example we set.

To my brothers — keep pushing, keep growing, and keep being the foundation your families can stand on. The work we do, the values we carry, and the love we give shape the next generation.

Wishing every father a day filled with appreciation, respect, and pride. Stay strong, stay humble, and continue to lead with heart. Happy Father’s Day, brothers.
