The ARG Performance purple GT86 is now running a EZ30 3L flat 6 out of a subaru legacy!

Back in March Vlad brought his 86 over from Ireland for a rod forged upgrade. Now with forged rods, ARP headstuds, Kelford uprated valve springs, cosworth head gaskets, ACL race bearings, Killer B pickup pipe, ARG Performance baffle plate plus a host of new oem parts such as pistons and all built at ARG Performance to the highest standards!

Back in March Lewis @takona_official brought in his 86 for some TLC, it was overdue a timing chain and various other worn out components were found such as idler pulleys, a water pump and sparkplugs. It also had a full service which included, engine oil, diff oil, gearbox oil, cabin air filter, subaru coolant, brake fluid and a HKS air filter. When the engine was apart it had the front cover vapour blasted to get it back to that shiny aluminium finish all the required seals were replaced with genuine subaru parts. And finally an AC delete kit.

Back in December Hubert brought in his 2021 BRZ that had suffered a valve spring failure, this had destroyed a camshaft, a cylinder head and a piston. All the damaged parts were replaced and the engine rebuilt better than new with oiling upgrades. We can fix any FA20 engine regardless of failure.

Back in December Gokay brought in his Blanco edition 86 that unfortunately had rodknock it has the ARG rodknock rebuilt treatment and is back on the road. He also upted for an uprated clutch and a fresh set of discs and pads.

Back in December Aimee brought in her GT86 which unfortunately had rodknock. A full ARG rodknock rebuild was completed so the engine was in tip top condition however the issues with this car didnt stop there! There was a fault with the ECU on several of the current limiting resistors that caused a short to ground on one of the VVT solenoids disabling the VVT system a new ECU was need and was programmed into the car and runs perfectly now. Our expertise doesnt just stop at engine builds, we can find any faults!

Lawrence @loz86trd brought his GT86 TRD edition in for the NA tuning package he opted for the Tomei UEL headers for that classic subby rumble now mapped with ECUTEK it has features such as flat foot shifting and launch control.

Some last minute additions to the turbo test car before Castle Combe testing on Saturday. A set of Tein RX1 coilovers, Fuji racing tow adjustment arms, a full Millers oils service, Hel braided brake lines, a full set of EBC brake diecs and pads with brake fluid, and some freshly powdercoated rebuilt calipers. Finished with a geo done by @hatton_energy_motorsport
