October’s birthstone is opal, and it’s one we hold close.

Almost all of the world’s precious opal comes from Australian soil, formed over millions of years as silica-rich water seeped into the earth and slowly set.

The result is a stone that’s completely one of a kind, with flashes of colour that shift every time it moves, a little like the light changing over the mountains outside our studio.

Opal is softer than most gemstones, so we love it in a bezel setting, where the metal wraps around the stone to keep it protected for everyday wear.

Choosing a diamond starts with a feeling, not a spec sheet. Swipe to find yours ✨

What shape are you most drawn to? Do you like clean lines, or organic curves.

For lovers of clean lines, rectangular stones are elegant and refined. Tending to elongate the finger.

Facets create the feel and story within the stone. A brilliant cut scatters light like sun on snow, a step cut is calm with mirror like flashes, an old mine cut has a vintage soft glow and a criss cut catches light through its multi angular facets.

For those who love a softer silhouette. Curves feel romantic and organic.

The cushion has soft, rounded corners giving romantic, vintage feel. The oval elongates the finger and can look larger than a round stone of the same carat weight. The pear is a graceful teardrop, with the point sitting either up or down. The classic is the round with the most sparkle of any shape.

Whichever you choose, it will be handcrafted in our studio and made to be lived in.
