Argyle Goolsby is back at Hot Rod, and he brought something new.

Chrome finish, built for the tour by Josh Warner over in London, England. The look follows the futuristic robotic motif of the new Blitzkid record, Modern Hell, their first studio album in sixteen years. Seymour Duncan Hot Stacks in it.

We got it dialed in for the road, and we also took care of the old beater bass, which, as Argyle put it, is back on the surgery table where it spends much of its time.

Blitzkid is out on the Modern Hell Tour right now, running through December 19th. Tickets at blitzkid.com.

When touring pros come off the road, this is where their gear lands. Yours is welcome too.

The vault clearing continues! Up for grabs is this custom made Clazone ATA case that I had built for Gorgeous Frankenstein during my tenure in that project. 16 space rack up top and a padded enclosure at the bottom for a bass head or whatever you want to put in it. Excellent condition! Great for a mobile studio. Pick up only (can potentially deliver to tri states locations). Serious inquiries only please! 🙏 by @argylegoolsby

Cleaning out the vault and decided to put this gem up for grabs. I acquired this very weathered accordion from the studio we recorded Let Flowers Die at. It was during those sessions that I traded an old guitar of mine to the engineer for it and it subsequently racked up quite a bit of Blitzkid miles over the years. I never learned to really play it but that didn’t stop me from busting it out on random occasions at live shows. Most notably I played it on the track “Terror in the haunted house” on our 2005 album “Five Cellars Below”. Some keys are busted and it’s got its share of road scars but it still moans and groans like a champ. DM me if interested. Serious inquiries only please 🙏 🪗 🦇 #longlivethesqueeze #blitzkid by @argylegoolsby
