fun SPOOKY touches around here.

the lady in the barn window has been startling people all week. the wicked witch greets you as you descend into the kitchen. & the most terrifying woman of all lives on the top stair landing. spider of course is friendly.

one year we hung witches hats from the great room beams and covered the place in fake spiderwebs (which we kept finding for years).

🧡

thank you to our friends adam & alicia for gifting us the two creepiest women in the lineup … barn + stair/hair lady.

& yes these spooky touches can be removed if you’re staying an october weekend & this is not your thing. by @argyll.house

our trails are feeling especially magical.

wander through 5 acres of stone paths, whimsical bridges, little woodland corners, and quiet places to pause and listen to the peaceful creek. by @argyll.house

the leaves are starting to turn & we officially have 3 pumpkins outside.. thank you @jennycipoletti! picking up more funky gourds this weekend.

we’re in the midst of coordinating three day + weekend retreats this fall, all led by local CT healers. and we’re scheming a little series of fall weeknight sound baths with @gemyogi & @siri.hoffman ✨

we’re here to take extra care of you on these cozy fall weekends.

local chef amanda can stock the fridge before you arrive with homemade dishes, or come over to cook you a proper feast.

settle in for a loving massage, tarot reading, or an immersive sound bath by the roaring fireplace.

come to rest. we’ll take care of the details.
