if the years of my life were a game, 2025 was definitely a boss battle, one so challenging that i thought i wouldn’t be able to win. video game once again came to the rescue, providing me the much needed reminder why, despite everything, being alive is not so bad after all. (thank you clair obscur expedition 33.) thankful the experience, growth, lessons, and whatnot but dear God i could use a break. so here’s hoping 2026 would give me that. 🥲🤞🤲🙏 by @arhcamt

never imagined this is how i would return from my instagram hiatus after my “meltdown” (thank you everyone for the support and kind words btw, truly means a lot) but here we are.

anyway this post in inspired by the demands to our government that @salsaer has eloquently put together. public speaking is not my forte but i kinda know how to put my thoughts into stories and make some simple design out of it in figma so that’s what i did to take a part in this movement.

i used to not care so much (or even at all) about politics. i didn’t like it because it’s an uncomfortable topic for me and i was (still am) privileged enough to not actually be impacted by it. but then came the genocide in palestine and long story short it truly radicalized me, so to speak.

i still don’t really like politics but i don’t like seeing the injustice even more. so i try to utilize my abilities, my platform, and what little influence i have as a way to hold myself accountable. because one day when this is all over and we all look back, i want to be able to say that i didn’t just watch it happen before my eyes, that i did something.
