Early evening set from @nichi__________ & @madaina____ wedding afterparty.

We got about two hours in before the rain decided we’d had enough. As usual.
Luckily, we recorded it and we really like how this one came together. A little snapshot from a very good night. Cheers to the newlyweds!

Find it on our Soundcloud. Link in bio.

“Unfamiliar Familiar” is the creation of five artists in a shared encounter, guided by a common language. This project was born from the connection between five artists united by a common sensibility towards minimal and underground electronic music.

At the heart of this encounter are @firesc_ and three prolific artists from @telegarecordings (@ari__pip, @fein_____ and @broascka), essential figures in shaping its identity, each contributing to a distinctive sound, and vision within the Romanian minimal scene. Joining them is Joaquín Gliese, who drives and plays an essential role in this encounter, connecting his own artistic vision with Telega’s creative universe and giving shape to a release where different perspectives converge in a shared sonic territory.

More than a collaboration, Unfamiliar Familiar represents an exchange between artists who, although they come from different backgrounds, share a common understanding of sound: stripped-down grooves, precise rhythms, hypnotic structures, microscopic details, and atmospheres that move between the dark and the experimental.

Familiar, because there’s a connection, a shared history, and a common language. Unfamiliar, because when these five perspectives meet, something new emerges.

This EP is a glimpse into the creative core of Telega Recordings, but also a representation of what can happen when that core encounters a fresh perspective and allows space for ideas to evolve.

For Podcast #31, we’re pleased to release a musical journey by Psyops, the duo formed by Ari and Fein, members of the @telegarecordings label and collective, who have been making quite a name for themselves within the scene.

Enjoy these three hours of music, recorded at Rehab. A journey to get lost in and let yourself go.

🎶@ari__pip is one of those artists who keeps the old-school spirit alive while making it entirely her own 👏🏻Her sound is timeless, authentic, and full of character, proving that true underground music never goes out of style

Beyond the decks, @ari__pip is one of the main organizers behind Gibo Festival. Her dedication, hard work, and passion have been essential in bringing this vision to life. Without her commitment and involvement, so much of what made this festival so special simply wouldn’t have been possible 🙌🏻

Thank you, Ari, for the music, the energy, and everything you do behind the scenes🤍
