It took a lot of courage for me to post this, as I was having a bout of body dysmorphia. I wanted to change my perspective of what I think about myself from negative to positive. I have a B- roll as a LEAD! I am playing one of the HARDEST roles on Broadway….and on a tour I may add. I never thought in a million years I can play a lead and one with this magnitude because this industry constantly told me I was not the right fit. I went from being an understudy on Bway to being the role and that never really happens in this day and age! I am so proud of the work this cast and crew is doing 8 times a week. Support us…support the arts! @tinabroadway now touring in North America! #tinaturner #tinaonbroadway #tinathemusical by @ari_grooves

As you all know, or may not know, I am excited to be your DJ for the 75th annual Tony Awards Gala Party! With that being said, I also wanted to show why I do what I do and how much the community has impacted this industry, but is sometimes never recognized. A change is coming y’all! From 2019 to 2026! When we started this little revival called @littleshopnyc …..we had no clue of how big this thing would grow. We just knew we loved telling the story that resonated with so many people……especially The Urchins, the un(SUNG) heroines. Recreating “Ronnette” with my OG sisters @joynwoods and @offsalomebsmith was truly a highlight of my career. I am so glad to see so many beautiful sisterhoods that have been created afterwards and still will continue to foster! Congrats @littleshopnyc for continuing to tell the folks to “DON’T FEED THE PLANTS” 🪴🤭! 📸 by @mikeygulci #littleshopofhorrors by @ari_grooves
