The Travis Preston Memorial Scholarship was created to ensure that Travis’ legacy continues. At the conclusion of each Volume, we choose one Storyteller who embodies the extraordinary athleticism, technique, virtuosity, fearlessness, and artistry Travis brought to his dancing.

At Volume 11:11, that dancer was @aria.secall .

Aria, there was something undeniable about the way you showed up in the room. Your commitment, your heart, your courage, and the way you gave yourself completely to the work despite fear that reminded us of exactly what this scholarship is meant to honor.

It is our privilege to award you full tuition to the next Volume of The Storytellers Intensive in Travis’ memory.

Congratulations, Aria. Keep telling the truth. Keep dancing fearlessly. Keep leaving your mark.

And Trav, we are still saying your name. Still telling your stories. Still watching your light find its way into the next generation. 💜✨

It’s been three weeks and I still cannot get over the week spent in NYC at the @thestorytellersintensive . I have never experienced something so incredible- being in a room full of love, support, TALENT, tears, laughter, and growth.

Marinda, thank you for all you do for the dance community. You put your heart and soul into everything you do and I can’t thank you enough for providing this space for dancers to learn and grow. I will be forever grateful that you are a part of my dance journey. @marinspirations @marinspired

I was awarded the Travis Preston memorial dance scholarship and I can’t even put into words what it means that you trust me with such a huge honor. I promise I will make you proud!!💜💜 #storytellers #dance #orlandodance #dancescholarship taken in NYC by @aria.secall

Another incredible @powerpakdance week in the books! So sad it’s over but so grateful to be able to attend one of my favorite conventions. I always enjoy the classes but the people, new friendships and old friendships are what makes it so amazing. Let’s go team @chloepaigecerreto I had the absolute best team and team leader!

I am so grateful to be a 2027’ Powerpak Apprentice! Thank you to all of the team leaders, teachers, assistants, Powerpak staff and of course @jillwolins33 and @marinspirations for sharing your talent with us! It’s such a honor to work with you! ❤️ @stardancealliance @danceone

To just be. No matter what that looks like today. Joyful or grieving. Strong or weary. Certain or confused. His love remains the same.
