Ms. Aria Kaylyn Webster, B.A. there is so much i could say about my last 4 years at USF. struggles, heartbreak, but also joy and love. my time here in sioux falls has been nothing short of making me into the strong ass woman i now am. my heart breaks to say goodbye to something so perfect but so beyond painful. so yes, there are no cords or honers, but i survived. that’s my award. i stayed alive at absolute rock bottom. thank you Jesus, for this gift. 🤍 by @aria_webster

1.14.2023. 📍The Sea of Galilee •Today was a day. a lot to take in. this post is raw emotions. it’s real, truth that i saw today. • We started the day in Magdala, the home town of Mary Magdalene. This was the first town Jesus came upon when he came up from Nazareth. the place i’m standing is the same exact path he took together. people lived in the caves behind me, so many years ago. it’s weird to think that Jesus was here. •Our next stop was the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus preached the sermon on the mount. (Mathew 5-7) on picture 3 is one of the things Jesus preached on that sermon, that same message was on my friend Heathers obituary. that’s the first thing i thought of when i saw that stone. i saw where those words were said. •Next was The church of loaves and fishes, where Jesus fed the 5,000. (Matthew 14:13-21) it was really put in place when i was told that the 5,000 were just men. that’s not counting women or children. wow. •Our next stop was very interesting, just because i forgot this story. this place is the primacy of Peter. (John 21) where Peter confesses his love for the resurrected Lord 3 times, he then tells Peter, “Feed my Sheep”. •We then headed to Caperneum, The place where Jesus centered his ministry. it’s mostly in ruins, so i decided to use the picture of “Homless Jesus” instead. it made me feel as if he was really here in the flesh with us.•Then, we hopped on a boat on the actual Sea of Galilee, where Jesus walked on water, Calmed the storm, and chose 4 disciples. It of course made me and others cry. just to see where Jesus worked miracles was unbelievable. •Our last stop was the Jordan river. This video is raw emotion, and one of the best moments of my life. being baptized where Jesus was sends chills down my spine. i understand and accept that i was baptized as a child, but wasn’t my choice. i made my own choice today to have a rebirth in baptism. i can’t wait to celebrate when i’m home! 🤍 by @aria_webster

1.12.2023. 📍Dead Sea, Jericho, Qumran. • today was an adventure! so may different places that give me chills. the bible is starting to come alive. •We started off our day floating in the dead sea! the dead sea is 9x saltier than the ocean and when you sit down, you immediately float because of the buoyancy. it felt magical honestly. coolest experience of my life!•The second picture shows our time at Mount Nebo, where Moses was presented the promise land by God (Deuteronomy 34) it sent chills down my spine. This was my dads favorite spot and just wanted to dwell here forever. the only thing i could think about was how moses felt and what he thought. the israelites waited for this for years. and Gods promise was fulfilled here at the spot i stood. •We finally got into the state of Palestine and headed for Jericho. Palestine controls the west bank of Israel and is mostly muslim and arabic speaking, people here are kind! we toured the accent ruins of the palace where Joshua fought the battle of Jericho. this city is the oldest city in the world, dating back 10,000 years. I also met a friend in picture 4:) we have the same nose ring, so it was only fair we took a picture and gave me a kiss right on the cheek;)•Our last stop today was in Qumran, where the Dead sea scrolls were found in the caves of picture 5. the entire bible was found on scrolls here and were discovered 1947. Roman soldiers also found them, destroyed some, and ripped them into 14,000 pieces.•We now reside in Tiberius, awaiting tomorrows adventures and the start of Shabbat, the Jewish sabbath. by @aria_webster

1.11.2023. 📍Petra, Jordan. •after 24 hours of flights and airports, we finally made it to Jordan! we are beyond jet lagged, trying to adjust to being 9 hours ahead of family and friends, and just needing sleep. But somehow at 8 am, we were ready to go! •Petra has been around since about 200 BC, it’s thousands of years old. the first picture you see, is Al Khazna, or the Treasury in english. it’s a roman temple after the roman empire took control of Arabia. In the Bible, Petra is known as Sela and is the spot where Musa (Moses) struck a rock with his staff and water came forth, and where Moses' brother, Harun (Aaron), is buried, at Mount Hor, known today as Jabal Haroun or Mount Aaron. The Israelites also passed through here on their way to the Promise Land. In the 3rd photo, you can see a Roman Amphitheater behind me and the 4th picture shows me an ancient home dated to the beginning times of Petra’s founding. •The 2nd photo shows me with a traditional Arab head wrap, also known as The Shemagh. Locals here love teaching about their culture and head covering and wrapped my head in under 30 seconds. They’re beyond friendly, caring, and some of the sweetest people i’ve met. Jordanians love their country. •That’s all i really have for today. it was breathtaking to say the least. by @aria_webster

one year. one year of missing your smiling face and your life advice. one year of sharing your legacy and telling others our stories. one year of hurting and trying to learn why God has taken you so soon. my heart breaks at the loss of your beautiful soul. i miss talking about stupid boys, life issues, and how the next time we’d see each other would be the best. i miss your hugs and you warm reassurance. my heart is broken today. give me strength.💔 by @aria_webster
