Becoming an AKA was a dream I’ve held forever, and seeing it come true was the absolute highlight of my time at Tuskegee. The way this chapter and my line invested in me truly shaped the woman I am today. While my undergraduate years have come to a close, I am forever grateful for this foundation where my dreams took flight. My commitment to our sisterhood and “Service to All Mankind” is for life. 💗💚

Mother Tuskegee, thank you for molding me into the woman I am today 🤍

Tuskegee invested in me from the very beginning and after touring the campus, I knew there was no other place for me. This illustrious institution challenged me to grow and opened my heart in ways I never saw coming. I survived the seasons where I felt completely lost, but those are the exact moments that built me back up. On May 9th, I officially walked across the stage with everything I need for what’s next and for that I am eternally grateful.

To my younger self: I hope that you’re proud. Just a girl from South Side Atlanta with a dream she didn’t let go of. All those nights we cried, doubted ourselves and wanted to give up... we made it.

The woman I’m becoming will always reflect everything this place poured into me.
