The Plot Twist! 🌱 Ep 2 - Garden Beds & Soil

I am so happy I made time for this! I’ve found it so super healing to create something, learn new stuff & be with nature. 🥬

I’m hoping El Niño doesn’t derail my plans 🫪

Last night I attended the first ever Pilates After Dark by @jesssrhodes 🖤 it was truly such a wonderful way to spend a Saturday evening. There were mocktails, kind people, top tier tunes & even a goodie bag!!! Highly recommend! Jess you are a weapon! taken in Hum by @ariabphillips

🌻 THE PLOT TWIST — Ep. 1 🌱
Sunflowers & tomatoes!

I’ve decided I’m a gardener now… and like usual I have gone in super hard and have little knowledge of what I’m doing 🤣 thank goodness for my mama & queen of nature @thelittleplantplacenelson 🥬

Come along for the chaos, the tiny seedlings, the inevitable mistakes & hopefully some actual flowers & vegetables 🍅

Turns out eating well, sleeping more, connecting with mates and touching grass actually does do wonders for your mental state.

After a rough ol time I’m soooo happy to be able to spend some time at home 🥹 I love our little patch of earth & I feel so lucky to tend to it!! 🌱🌷🐈 by @ariabphillips

Absolutely slaps.

Lemony-herby-chicken-meatballs w/ orzo

50g panko
1 egg
Generous handful of parsley
1/2 lemon zest
50g grated parm
400g chicken mince
S&P

Mix & form little balls!!

Add them to pot, brown off, remove & add in the onion, carrot & celery, caramelise & deglaze with white wine, add in stock pot, water, bone broth & juice of 1 lemon, simmer for a while then pop 200g of orzo & your meatballs back in.

Let the orzo cook through, salt and a slither of butter to taste. Plate & garnish with more parsley & a squeeze of lemon.

You can mix this up however. The point is herby meatballs are delicious in soupy orzo.

Annyeonghaseyo !!
Last weekend in Wellington for K Festival was so divine!

Danny’s an absolute legend, he doesn’t have socials and is the most humble person I’ve ever met & damn the man can cook.

I’ve always been a massive foodie, never in my dreams did I think I would ever host a live cooking segment! Can’t believe I did this 😳 if you told me a year or two ago this was in my timeline I wouldn’t have believed you x by @ariabphillips
