Life abroad for a year in the south of Spain was the reset I never knew I needed after 15 yrs of go mode…

We hit up 12 countries. Made connections and friendships of a lifetime. The girls school had 82 nationalities and Lyon picked up a slew of British slang.

I’ll never get over the fresh orange juice for 3 euros or that bread is baked in gas stations. The beach clubs and chiringuitos are 🔥 in Spain and we found out @mercadona apparently is @friscocoloradokid soulmate, not me 🤣

I’m now used to people having zero body spatial awareness and being all up in my grill, and I’m still the only person in Spain who wants to eat dinner by 6pm.

I arrived as a grandma driver and came out tailgating people to move faster in the roundabouts. We went with five suitcases and realized you really don’t need a lot of stuff to live. The simple life IS the good life.

Now we’re headed to Traverse City to start our next family adventure…

✌️ out bluebird Vail

We had lots of fun and adventure. Kids went to Avon School for the month. Met new friends and saw old. We got a lot of days in even though the snow was bad we rode hard and I got to jam out to Glitch Mob on the mountain! 🏂🏂⛷️⛷️ taken in Vail, Colorado by @arianachernin

Late to the 2016 throwback, but this made me really happy scrolling through old pics taken that year 📸
So much has changed and somehow not much at all in the last 10 years 🤪….Still doing photo shoots with @jillianlorenz , dressing up in costumes, my love to snowboard (although way more cautiously!!), and working out.

I miss teaching classes like crazy and of course The Barre Code as I knew it. And I love seeing the growth, a full decade later, all the momentum with @barre3 keeping the legacy alive 🩷💛💚🧡

Cheers to what was, what is, and what’s next. Memories matter. Enjoy the present and look back with joy. I’ve found the hardest stuff I went through often become the memories I cherish most.

Happy Birthday to our one of a kind 51 yr old stud muffin @friscocoloradokid !

You make us laugh everyday, are an amazing dad and keep us all on our toes.

This montage sums up yesterday and it kinda feels like your perfect day ... Customary weekend pancakes, snowboarding and dad diy ski lessons for Lyon (not pictured the mistake of taking a large cart with kids gear on a crowded bus:) , run to apres party at the ritz for 40 minutes, bday dinner In vail with good friends, hey boys recording, mock boxing matches and ended it with 9 kids all cracked out in one house playing rumicube late night.
