👑Performing Grand Pas de Deux with @b_forrest_b for Gonzales Youth Ballet’s Nutcracker @comeandtakeitdance was so much fun! This was from January 2026. I love the process that leads up to the moment just as much as the moments onstage. Thankful for all of your kindness and support, it isn’t easy as a freelancer to find time, space, a willing partner, rehearsal directors ect while also coaching full time. 😅I wouldn’t have it any other way, I get the best of both worlds!

Last night after teaching, a student waited patiently while I finished talking with and helping another dancer. When she finally came over, I assumed she needed some technical help,I was honestly a little confused because her technique had looked so strong in class.

Instead, she quietly asked, “Can I take a picture with you?”

I was completely stunned. 🥹 I started crying because I truly wasn’t prepared for such a sweet, simple question.

Sometimes we don’t realize how much we mean to our students. Moments like this remind me that teaching is about so much more than technique. It’s about connection, encouragement, and making dancers feel seen. Thank you…I’ll remember this little moment for a very long time. As dancers, the energy we bring into the room is our responsibility. Finding strength doesn’t come only from muscle power, we have to exercise our mind! Believe you can do it, talk positively to yourself, stop any negative talk, have faith that your hard work actually will pay off-and remind yourself you’re not tired, you’re just reaching a new level. #newnormal #nevergiveup #balletmindset

I created BalletFlex classes to help dancers build the flexibility, strength + control that compliments their ballet technique. It’s a dream to see the results these dancers have created once they learn how to use their BalletFlex Band and Flexistretcher’s! Some of my dancers have been using this technique for years, so remember if you’re new-don’t compare just be consistent and you will get results.✨

This class is specifically for teen dancers and we’ll be working on active flexibility, conditioning, mobility, extensions, turnout + overall control.

Exploring Berlin was definitely one of the highlights of my summer. I loved Museumsinsel, (pictured here) this blue and yellow train station that connects you to many incredible art museums and the stunning opera house! It reminded me of the Peter Pan ride at Disneyland ✨⭐️😌
