I recently just closed on my moms home and it was very bitter sweet. I learned selling a house is much easier than selling your own home.

I’m grateful for all the love, meals, art, celebrations, animals and great times that have passed through 3418 (thank you Mom💛). Happy to know it’s going to another family who will love it just as much as we did.

Grafton & Fleck’s will combine two experiences under one roof: a homey, unpretentious steakhouse downstairs and an elevated rooftop lounge and cocktail bar upstairs. The rooftop will feature both indoor and outdoor spaces overlooking Atlantic Beach, creating a new spot for drinks, sunsets, and late nights by the coast. Downstairs, expect a warm and approachable steakhouse experience built around great food without the overly formal atmosphere.

The restaurant will also feature 20 privately owned wine/drink lockers available for rent reach out to marketing@river-grp.com, giving regulars a unique way to make the space their own. Also valet service will be available, adding another level of convenience to the experience.

🍷 NEW DOWNTOWN RESTAURANT + ROOFTOP + SPEAKEASY INSIDE A HISTORIC FUNERAL HOME ✈️⚰️

Coming soon to Downtown Jacksonville: @thejennyjax, a new restaurant named after Bessie Coleman’s plane. The menu will feature dishes inspired by the different cities she visited while traveling across the country for her legendary aerial shows. The restaurant will also include a rooftop dining area and a hidden speakeasy-style bar.

The Jessie is part of the historic Lawton L. Pratt Funeral Home, a longtime Black-owned Jacksonville business that has been thoughtfully transformed into a boutique hotel @theravenjax. Most rooms honor a historic figure who once passed through Jacksonville, bringing the city’s rich history to life in an entirely new way.

Chef Amy is assisted by her daughter and family, they run an amazing spot. Everything I tasted was delicious. I’m thrilled for the area and can’t wait to go back for a breakfast cinnamon roll.
