💭Daydreamin’ across the US with @mollyjburch 💭

When Molly first announced an upcoming tour back in May, I eagerly pulled up the tour schedule and planned my route to see her multiple times—ultimately landing on Denver, SLC, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and ending at home in LA ❤️‍🔥

Molly is so incredibly talented from her voice to her lyricism; when Daydreamer came out I stayed up listening to it feeling VERY seen by the depictions of feeling alienated, not good enough and being the type of girl who gets paranoid when they’re high 🙋🏼‍♀️

Molly has been one of my favorite artists for years and I will always follow her cross country! (And I only do that for 3 total artists—including her!). Plus, she’s the sweetest, kindest gal 💕

To Molly: You belong on the top floor with the big dogs! (But it’s also ok if you find yourself having a weed induced panic attack in the bathroom, been there 🫣) Miss ya already!

“How do you say goodbye forever? Sincerely, Seeking Advice” - Jenny Lewis “Chain of Tears”

I flew out to London just to say goodbye to my favorite band in the world, Tennis 💙 I am still trying to find the words to describe my feelings — sad, happy for them, grateful, but for now plz enjoy this photo dump of the London show ft an onstage shoutout, the mixtape I made them, the last “Matrimony” ever 😭 I have loved them for 8 years and will love them for 8x those years, even though they have said Farewell.

I am grateful for the life that following them on tour has given me — the places I’ve been able to see from Santa Fe to Vancouver to London and even Boise! For the friends I made in London, across the US, Canada and all points in between — I will never forget you! The nights I spent writing single names on grocery store cakes to celebrate a drop, the early flights, the late nights, the constant yapping to anyone in line who would listen about my favorite album of theirs (Swimmer). My 30th birthday spent at their show in New Haven on Halloweekend.

There have of course been hurdles —former friends who didn’t get it, busting ass to save money for following a band on a whole tour, busses delayed at the Canada/US border in 2023 that I still talk about! I would do it, do it, do it again 🥰

Love u forever @tennisinc 💙 to think that during Pollen Tour in 2023 I never thought I’d meet them ❤️❤️ Alaina and Pat are the sweetest people in the world, and I am so grateful for the love they’ve shown me over the years — the post show catch ups, the pre-show “hey Aria! You made it!”s, the on stage call outs, the tambourine, the set lists, the trophy—I could go on! ❤️

Last night, Alaina Moore came and spoke directly to me during a brief segment about relationship advice and called me her talisman for the past 6 shows and was so thankful to see me in the same spot night after night and I’m am CRYING in the Amtrak to LA rn!!!!! I seriously don’t know how to process this (in the very BEST way!) 😭

Vid Credz: @ciboboyeee for the first one and omg y’all he and I know each other from the Paso Robles Jenny Lewis show last summer!!! It was SO awesome to hang again in the front row and I’m forever grateful for both your company and capturing this video!! 😭😭

Another girl came up to me and texted me the second video too but I didn’t catch her name!

I have 2 more shows left of Wimbledon Too (LA! Down the street from my apartment! And San Diego!) I love @tennisinc so much ok I’ll stop this long emo caption so y’all can watch!

Woke up on my 22 hour LA layover ready 2 party!

Side Note: I saw a meteor shower from the flight deck on the way in! This was a very magical trip! I had to beg Crew Scheduling to finally let me pick up an LA trip but we did it!

Got my vintage Ed Hardy mini skirt on and Amoeba bag over my shoulder and I’m out the door!

Green Line to Silver Line time! Fun Fact: This used to be my life those 3 years I worked in El Segundo! I was inconvenienced multiple times by the construction of the K Line to and from work but it’s fine!

The Silver Line station jammed in between multiple freeways! We love Harbor Freeway station!

Fun Fact: The new electric Silver Lines have back windows!

Sushi from Bento Ya in Grand Central Market! I refuse to eat sushi in landlocked states so this was the first sushi I’ve had in a minute!

Also: My mom once met Jason Isbell here! They were both lost and overwhelmed by Grand Central Market!

Frontier Airlines 🤝 Frontier Whiskey (I didn’t drink though! I just thought the same names were fun!)

Made up vintage ads in Angel’s Flight!

Took the Red Line from DTLA to Amoeba for an impromptu visit! Van time wasn’t until 10:30PM so I had soooo much time!!

Found @griffyjams ‘ EP Comfortably High in the G Section at Amoeba! Obviously I grabbed it and took it to Chicago with me! (And then subsequently had “Jesus Honey” in my head the rest of the day, no complaints!)

Back to Harbor Freeway!

Ngl I cried listening to “I Love LA” by Randy Newman on the Silver Line idgaf

After a 2 hour Metro ride (which included a Beach Cities Transit tour of El Segundo aka My Museum of Failures) we go to Manhattan Beach with still more hours until van time!
