Wow. These lyrics are truth. God is good. It’s amazing to me how the Lord uses His people and His power to completely change lives. The Lord is faithful. He is a provider and merciful redeemer. This weekend was proof of that.

As I stood worshiping my father at Fall Conference this weekend I thought back to the lonely lost girl I was in the exact same place 2 years ago. It was at that Fall Conference I learned what it meant to abide in Christ. I knew then that wanted to surrender it all to Him and lay down my life. I trusted His plans and His pruning in my life. I still do.

This weekend gave me a new perspective of what my life looked before knowing Christ and I realized God was always with me through it all. He’s always been there. He even cried with me through all hardships.

I’m truly leaving college a different woman than I went in as. It’s only by His blood! Thank you Jesus! Thank you for all these sweet girls I love so dearly!!! Friendship is a gift. taken in Webster Conference Center by @ariawna.rose

In the past week, I’ve been reflecting a lot on what I learned as I traveled to Honduras. One thing I learned, greater than all, is the weight of a yes. A yes is all it takes to be obedient to Christ. A yes to one week or one flight or anything you think of can change your life for the better and open your eyes to the beauty of His creation. In Honduras I saw the love of God and the gospel lived out. It was beautiful, encouraging, and refreshing. Refreshing to know the same God that’s at work in the places we went to is amongst us every day. The same God lives in you and provides for us daily. What a gift! But hey even if it’s scary…say yes!! Trust in the Lord that He’ll make your paths straight and lay your life down for Him. This is just a snippet of all I could say about my week in Honduras so ask me more about it!! As my time in Honduras came to an end all I could think of was the lyrics of the song Follow. Be devoted and obedient to Christ living out your faith with a simple yes….

It’s easy to see the goodness of the Lord when I step back and look at junior year!!

What a blessing it is to live this life and be surrounded by such an amazing community. I’m grateful to say college has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. I went to K-State with no idea what I was doing and found myself lost and just going with the motions. I can see God was with me through every step and pursuing me. The Lord is faithful!

October 2024, I gave my life to Christ and decided to abide in Christ! With that, began the pruning which helped me to fully lean on God! My life didn’t instantly become better or easier but I have security in Christ and the plans He has for me. I find myself running to Him when things are so good, not just hard like I used to do. I praise God for the life He’s given me and the people who are like flowers in my garden. My heart is so full and I couldn’t be more thankful for all the memories I’ve made this year!! Jesus is my savior!!! I’ve been made new!! I used to seek approval and security in people and now I’m approved and secure in Christ! What a blessing it is to live this life for him and through Him. I find my security, approval, worth, joy, life and so much more in Christ. God is a loving, generous, eternal, consistent, near, sovereign, forgiving, justifier who is for us! He’s a provider, creator, father of Jesus, who is the perfect king and friend. We should hold nothing back from Him since He didn’t spare for us! Nothing can seperate us from God’s love! Glorify him through all!

My life has truly transformed since I gave my life to Christ in October 2024! All the glory to Jesus who has changed me and given me a new life for doing something we never could!! PRAISE GOD!!! by @ariawna.rose
