jiang’s kitchen review (more in depth!) 🍜

jiang’s kitchen 🥟
📍27 E Robinson St, Orlando, FL 32801

had the yummiest lunch at jiang’s kitchen in the heart of downtown orlando! jiang’s kitchen is a modern asian restaurant which specializes in 18-pleat soup dumplings 🥟 and they also have sushi and yummy noodle dishes 🍜

here’s what we ordered:

- thai tea
- osaka gin blossom
- beef xiaolongbao
- dan dan noodles (my fav)
- rock shrimp
- taiwanese popcorn chicken
- matcha tiramisu
- yuzu cheesecake

everything was so so yummy! the dan dan noodles and desserts were my favorite! i’m also a huge fan of thai tea so i loved that as well 🧡 jiang’s kitchen is also opening a location on mills ave, so stay tuned!

catchè
📍1220 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803

we went to try out catchè in the mills 50 district and i absolutely loved everything they have!!! they are currently having a collaboration with nola’s ice cream for three new floats. i tried all of them and they were so yummy!!! i got the pandecoco chè float, pandecoco matcha float and the vietnamese coffee float. i totally recommend them all, but the chè was my favorite 🤩

if you don’t know, chè is a vietnamese dessert, there are different types of chè but the one i had contained pandan jelly, sago and milk!

have you been to catchè in orlando, florida?!

OKONOMI [お好み] 🐟
“as you like it”

📍1110 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803

thank you to the okonomi team for hosting us 🫰🏼

you’ve probably heard of omakase… where the chef is in control of the menu, paced and chosen by the chef. okonomi is quite the opposite, literally meaning “as you like it”, okonomi is a dining experience where the customer is fully in control of their menu! we still recommend moving from lightest flavors to richest… but that’s completely up to you!

here’s what we ordered:

- kinmedai
- kisu
- shima aji
- sanma
- masu
- mehikari
- kamasu
- saba
- meichidai (seasonal) ⭐️
- fuji salmon (seasonal) ⭐️
- kanpachi (seasonal) ⭐️

please note, the menu is constantly changing, so if you visit you may not be able to get the same items we did. but that’s part of the fun in my opinion!

overall, if you are looking to experience an elevated sushi tasting, i absolutely recommend checking out okonomi. okonomi is for those who value quality, but also appreciate tradition!

have you visited okonomi in mills market yet? if so; what did you think?
