October was for boobz, beats and babes. by @ariccim
Meet October’s Member of the Month, Jon! Originally from Kansas, he moved to this area 15 years ago and joined baseline right when we opened (he’s technically been playing at the request of his wife since Covid!). As a practicing dentist and up-and-coming wildlife + landscape photographer, Jon loves staying active with players of all ages, and loves the dink game as it requires both skill and patience. Alissa had to join in to give Jon a special shoutout, too: “We have Jon to thank for inspiring our 5-Lesson Package! When he approached me in the café and asked if we’d consider offering a lesson package, I loved the idea and knew it could benefit so many of our players. Jon saw the value of consistent training, and throughout his lessons he’s been able to work on many aspects of his game including backhand rollers, speed-ups and counters. It’s a joy to see Jon’s name on the schedule and know he’ll be putting those new skills to use at baseline GVL!” Thanks for your good ideas and great game play, Jon! See you on the courts! by @ariccim
Plan Ahead: Tuesday 10/27 is the LAST DAY to sign up for our huge Fall Classic! Join us on 10/31 and 11/1 for all the fun. Each day, players will compete in round-robin play followed by single-elimination playoffs, with divisions based on skill level. And for our top competitors: each OPEN divisions will feature $2k in cash payouts! See you there! by @ariccim

The Get Your Boobs off the Baseline breast cancer fundraiser with Melissa Morrell and Team Sammie is THIS Tuesday from noon-8pm! Your $50 ticket includes open play, yoga, a T-Shirt and a burrito from Daylight Burritos! Plus, onsite mammograms! Buy tickets through Team Sammie at the link in our bio. -— The 7th Annual Bourbon for Boobs is later this month, and we’re so proud to support our friend Melissa who created this team after her mom Sammie died after a tough fight with Breast Cancer. The Team Sammie Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) funds are used 100% locally in the Upstate community to serve underserved women. They are providing access to care; specifically, they have funded over 1,200 mammograms and screenings to date via the Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health and its two mobile mammography coaches. by @ariccim

Good news: AI still can’t make Millennial white women cool so it’s not taking over anytime soon. #NotMDDM by @ariccim
Mark your Calendars! HALF OFF open plays for our baseline ladies this month on Wednesday 9/30 to celebrate National Women’s Health & Fitness Day! Just give our front desk a call to lock in your deal. It’s a woman’s world and we’re just playin’ pickleball in it! by @ariccim
Meet Aileen, baseline’s very first Member of the Month (and one of our Day 1 members)! Born and raised in NJ, Aileen’s lived a little bit of everywhere: DC, Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, and now Greenville since 2009! “The people at baseline are probably my favorite thing about the club - from the staff to the players. Everyone is so nice, friendly, and encouraging. I have a lot of fun whenever I am there, plus I get a great workout!” Thank you, Aileen! Alissa feels the same. “Aileen is such an important and valuable member of our community. Not only has she been a supporter since we opened our doors, she is so fun to play with and has really helped cultivate our ladies beginner and advanced beginner groups. She also provides valuable feedback that helps us make baseline GVL the best facility in the Upstate!” Come out and catch Aileen playing one day - she’s here pretty often, as long as she’s not doing Pilates, dance fitness, or Mahjong! by @ariccim
