I said goodbye to my best friend last night 💔 I’m still in shock and am writing this before it hits me that he’s gone forever. We had 10 years together and I told him every day that if this was the last day we had, I’d be so grateful for all of the time spent and memories we made together. I miss him so much 😭

Tilly was with me through the highest highs and the lowest lows in my life. If you knew me, you knew about my Tilly. He was too smart for his own good, hilarious, sassy and the best big brother to Niko (and recently, Nugget). He was my soul cat…my heart’s other half. He made me go to bed on time (and yelled at me until I did), stayed up late with me to write my college essays, went on walks around the block, helped me look for Niko for hours in the cold when he went missing, regulated my breathing when I was in a panic and always slept purring by my head with his head nuzzled in my hands.

I am now learning how to navigate the world without him by my side. We had no time to process - he just had a checkup last week and was totally fine. But when we got home last night, he couldn’t move his back legs and we rushed him to the hospital. He was diagnosed with saddle strombus (a blood clot blocking flow to his legs) had less than a 2% chance to improve, and would never be able to walk or run again. We made the clear choice to let him go…and he tried to comfort us the entire time. He was not in pain and got TWO Churu treats as his last meal 🥹 I was telling him that kitty heaven was exactly like this except that his mamas won’t be as close by his side 😭

I am so grateful the decision was obvious to us for his quality of life, and I’m so glad he wasn’t in pain for long. There are so many things that could have taken his life since he was an outdoor cat…this could have suddenly happened when he was outside somewhere, unable to make it home to us. But it happened in our bed, where he was cozy, safe and warm and we got the chance to be with him until the end to say goodbye 😔❤️

This is me on my first motorcycle ride with Kris! He looks tough but he’s got the biggest heart and the best hugs. We lost his little brother at a young age (20 years ago) due to health complications and now Kris is facing this 😔 we’re doing everything we can to get the word out and try and find a donor. He’s Canadian, so you’d be helping our neighbors to the North! 🇨🇦

He is blood type O, one of the least available due to high demand as the universal donor. To determine your eligibility, please check your blood type with your GP doctor, informing them of your intention to donate. If you know your blood type, you can contact the Living Kidney Foundation at 1-204-787-2323, referencing Kris Pelletier. If you do this, please let me know directly so I can thank you for even considering such a selfless act 🥹

🥳 MY BRIGHT SHINING STAR AMIDST ALL THE DARKNESS @madddiedadddie TURNS 30 TODAY!!!! 🌟

It literally blows me away that we have SO many memories, and these are only the ones we took photos of! I am so beyond grateful to have you in my life. May we bring back Froyo sales in full swing and shop at at Marshalls with our walkers well into our 90s.

What’s happening here in MN (and across the country) is devastating. Immigration is truly what makes America great, and 🧊 is stripping us of that greatness.

My best friend’s family (who we consider relatives, not by blood but by love) grew up in Puerto Rico and immigrated to the US, yet have NEVER for one second let you forget they’re Boriqua. Puerto Rican pride is stronger than any pride I’ve ever seen (yes, even stronger than queer pride) and I think that’s beautiful.

To be so proud of where you are from is something that’s foreign to me, as an American. I am not proud of this country. I am ashamed of what we’ve become and how divided we are on things like basic human rights.

Julia and I had the honor of staying in my friend’s family home for the last week of 2025 and to say I was happy is an understatement…I am the most wonderful version of myself when I’m on that island. Whether it’s

❤️‍🩹 helping neighbors clean up debris after a hurricane
🥖walking to the panadería for the best bread
🌙 driving on the treacherous mountain roads at night
🌧️ caught in one of the torrential downpours that only last 20-30 mins…

🥰 I am so unbelievably happy.

Words can’t express how grateful I am for being labeled “an honorary Puerto Rican” by Boriqua women themselves, and I will always fight to protect this island and its people 🇵🇷 thank you @badbunnypr for always looking out for your beautiful home 🙏

Hi friends, I’m unfortunately writing bc we are still getting direct requests for food for those who can’t go to food banks for fear of being taken.

I’m down to $305 in funds and have at least 3 families hoping to get fed this week still. I will be using my own funds for them if we don’t raise them bc I never want to deny a family food in a time like this 😣 And if it comes to it, I will go to food banks to help cut costs for me as it quickly gets expensive.

Less than a month ago I was on vacation in beautiful PR, practicing my Spanish so I could use it with friends and at my local supermercado 🇵🇷

Now, we are at war with the federal government. Except they’re allowed to break the law and use lethal force and we’re (US citizens) being illegally detained by simply recording this violence on our cell phones.

I love my city. I love my state. I love our diversity. I love immigrant neighbors. And I love my people.

Minnesotans will never stop protecting their community. It looks like you’ll have to detain, arrest, kidnap, beat, and kill us all first.

This was the most breathtaking birthday gift I’ve ever received 💕 what a beautiful night 🌅

I’m so grateful to have lived so much life for the past 30 years. This last decade of my life had so many ups, downs and trials by fire than I could have ever imagined.

To those who supported me through it all, I can’t thank you enough 🫶🏼

To those who challenged me, I’m grateful to have grown from it and came out stronger 💪

And to those who only know what I post or share on social media - know that you only see the better side of me. I’m just as overwhelmed, tired, annoying, weird, stressed and not as confident as the next person. And at the end of the day, life is what you make it. So let’s make it rock 😉

These photos are the few times I’ve felt like things were going to be okay. Thank you to everyone in them for reminding me of that ❤️

It’s been hard to show up lately. Ever since we got back from our trip to Peru - things have gotten heavier and the days blur together. But let’s be honest, our trip to Peru was just a break from the constant barrage of violence in the news, outbursts of racist, homophobic, xenophobic and you-name-it acts that are literally costing their people their lives - and a government of the “best country in the world” ignoring the leading causes of death to our children, all while killing children across the world from us.

It’s very clear to me that if you have endless money, you can afford not to fear for your life, and if you have ample privilege, you have the luxury not to keep up with the news because it’s not directly affecting YOU or someone you love.

Now more than ever, we need to check in on our loved ones. Put the phones down and TALK, turn off the television and LISTEN, set aside your pride and GIVE THEM A HUG. And if you think this is a “radical” post, let’s talk about. We’re all human, and we’re not all that different.
