The thing about Paris is that it’s always perfect. Enjoyed with lifelong friends @anyabcohen and @efg015, it’s somehow even better. It’s hard to express the magic of and the blessing of time with friends at this age and being able to have it in such a delicious place, well, we are just the luckiest. Here’s to our brave and adventurous friend Erica for making Paris her home (and inviting us to visit!). And to my shipmate Anya for making me brave enough to take the journey on my own from Chicago! ✈️ by @arielkanter

My latest Rel’s Recs newsletter is all about what I’m eating, reading, buying, and eyeing for the upcoming season. Leave a comment to get the story in your DMs! #acotar #fallshopping by @arielkanter

The feeling of #backtoschool never really goes away, at least for me. Here’s how I refresh my wardrobe for the “school” year, including organization, cleaning, identifying the gaps, andddd of course, shopping. Get the full story at the link in my bio or by checking out Rel’s Recs on Substack. #homeorganization #closetrefresh #backtoschoolshopping by @arielkanter

A snippet of my Rel’s Recs substack essay on a weird shame about not liking museums and finding my calling in botanical gardens. Being a human is weird and we don’t always have to love what we think we’re supposed to love. Big ass sal kind of dinner. This is something I do often - a salad that’s hot and cold, crunchy and soft, sweet and salty. It’s got a bit of everything. There’s a lot you could add or subtract given who you’re feeding. And the good thing is you can change it up if you have leftovers (put into pita, throw into an omelette, etc.). Anyway, please enjoy my super long reel. Also, the sharp cuts. I don’t know how to do transitions and don’t feel like learning! Ps. The dressing had curry powder, cumin, and paprika. 😘 #easydinnerideas #salad #weeknightdinner by @arielkanter

I saw this video going around and was pretty bummed that this narrative that #motherhood should be the only path for women continues to be peddled by both men and women. This isn’t just a shame for people who choose to be #childfree but also for people who can’t have children. And even for mothers: they exist far more than to just be caretakers. In this, I mean they are valuable in their own right, period. And if the world doesn’t start seeing women as more than just vessels for babies (whether women love their role as mother or not), we are going to miss out on a richer, better, safer existence. #gardening #pottery #matriarchy by @arielkanter

A #greenhouse cucumber success! Yes, also a dance party. Do all #millennials do this now? #gardening by @arielkanter
