We had the loveliest girls day together at @thecakebakeshop - under the English rose garden themed decor, enjoying a pot of rosehip hibiscus tea, earls court chocolate cake, seasonal coconut cake, lavender lemonade in a glittering swan, and unicorn hot chocolate. Even the beautiful reusable bags are perfect for a rainy end to the afternoon, 😂
Love you @littlegunnellfamily and @67linda67 🩷🤍🩷

“Be still, and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10.
Today was a miracle. After so many sustaining miracles. The culmination of over 3 years of work, trials, fears, learning, joy, the addition of new friends, growing and birthing a whole little person, and countless hours of sacrifice and studying. No matter how much effort I put in, I know without a doubt that this is a merciful miracle from Heavenly Father. 10 years ago this fall, I graduated nursing school. Today, I passed my boards to be a CRNA on my first attempt. Thank you to my friends and family who have patiently endured neglect, wiped away my tears, sent supportive messages, as well as praying and sending spiritual strength repeatedly. I’m still in shock. Thank you to my husband, who’s held my hand every step and been essentially a single dad caring for our son. Thank you, Leif, for being the best baby and kiddo you could hope for. Thank you, God, for blessing me with this insanely thoughtful early birthday present.
Finally, after years, Dobby is a free Elf.

Thank you for being there for me, each of you. You know who you are. I’ll be telling the whole world how lucky I am and spamming soon with thankful posts after this social media disconnect. I love you beyond description. #CRNA #DoctorRipley #miracleshappenwhenyoubelieve by @ariellecaramel

“Knäck” is essentially a Swedish Christmas 🎄✨🇸🇪Butterscotch. Directly translating to “crack” in that it’s a description of its consistency. It’s a lovely treat that reminds me of my childhood.
The recipe calls for:
2 dl white sugar
2 dl ljus sirap
2 dl whipping cream
1 tbsp butter
1 dl slivered or crushed almonds
- I added a sprinkling of sea salt on top of each for an extra touch
For reference 1 dl = 0.423 American cups
Also, just another reminder why I wish we used the metric system 🤦‍♀️🤣

We celebrated “Dressed to the 9 3/4” at @universalorlando Diagon Alley. It’s unofficially arranged by the @cfslugclub annually - anyone can join in the fun of dressing your finest to visit the wizarding world. Leif [Layf] and Lachlan were good sports and despite all odds didn’t cry in their beautifully crafted #mandrake pots made by @jessicaelizabeth43 🌱🪴🧙🏻‍♀️💚
Leif had a health scare this week, and after many prayers and a blessing, he is almost recovered. Thanks to the awesome team at #arnoldpalmerhospitalforchildren 💚 please be careful with your little ones as respiratory viruses of all strains are rampant right now.

Happy 10 months Leif [Layf] -You are so brave, cheerful, and snuggly. One year ago you were the tiniest and joining me as I helped the deatheaters in Hogsmeade - so naturally we had to go visit them in Diagon Alley to celebrate. 💀🐍✨🍼
Thank you @brittmcleod12 for being our cinematographer💚

Channeling that Côte d’Azur, French Riviera, aesthetic at Disney’s Riviera Resort ✨ 💄💋⛲️🎥🎞️💌❣️
We had the loveliest brunch at Topolino’s, a few weeks ago and got to enjoy basking in a little French inspired fashion. I channeled Brigitte Bardot / Margo Robbie Barbie goes to Paris. Ever so thankful for this incredible group of women that inspire me to dress up for ourselves and have fun! ❣️

Thankful for this fun girl’s Saturday.
To quote Jessica Day, ““I brake for birds. I rock a lot of polka dots. I have touched glitter in the last 24 hours. I spend my entire day talking to children. And I find it fundamentally strange that you’re not a dessert person. It freaks me out. I’m sorry that I don’t talk like Murphy Brown. And I hate your pants suit. I wish it had ribbons on it or something just to make it slightly cuter but that doesn’t mean I’m not smart and tough and strong.” So yes, I’ll keep wearing my very girly pink sailormoon scrub cap, and Yes, I’ll keep pumping breastmilk for my child. Because being feminine means I’m strong, not inspite of it - because of it. by @ariellecaramel

Happy 6 months my sweet little Leif [Lay-f]! We celebrated midsommar with your cousins, aunts, uncles, mormor and daddy. We also got to celebrate me finally passing a huge exam for school that’s been looming over me for close to a year. Thank you for being such a patient and sweet lil nugget of joy.
🫧🧚🏻‍♀️🐸🦋☘️💐🌱🌸
After many pleading prayers, loved ones fasting, affirmations, sobbing, countless hours of studying (pretty much all of poor Leif’s life span) and encouragement and sacrifice from incredibly supportive friends, classmates, family and husband (real MVP): I passed. I felt like a boulder was removed from my shoulders. I sobbed on the bathroom floor of the testing center in relief. I still have about a year left of school - but at last I see the light. 🌄I’m so grateful for this merciful miracle.
I found this incredible article about the 4th watch - the time span between 3 am and 6 am (sunrise) in ancient Israel. It described how despite the apostles being way out to sea (about 70 football fields out) in the middle of a terrible storm, the middle of the night, help didn’t arrive till the very last moment. Sometimes our answers don’t come when we like, often our hearts desires aren’t fulfilled immediately- until the 4th watch, the last possible moment. It allows us to refocus our hearts and remember our faith. I hope that whatever trial you’re enduring, that you hold on for your 4th watch - the sun will rise again, you are loved and precious and I’m thankful for the light you bring to this world.
