Closing the pages of junior year feels like laying down a chapter the Lord Himself so gently wrote, line by line, moment by moment. A season that stretched me, refined me, and called me beyond what was comfortable, only to meet me there with His peace.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
And how true He has been to that promise.
Even in the uncertainty, even in the growing, He led me beside still waters and restored parts of my soul I didn’t realize were weary. And when fear tried to find its way in, His Word echoed louder, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?”
This year, I learned that when I quiet my heart, when I truly listen, I can feel Him. Not just in the big moments, but in the stillness, in the laughter, in the sacred ordinary. His presence has been constant, steady, and so kind.
And the blessings, oh how undeserved yet abundant. The sweetest of them being the people He placed in my life, my precious mijas, little glimpses of His love walking beside me every day. Through them, He showed me joy, friendship, and what it means to be deeply known.
B8 was beautiful. A gift. A memory I will hold close. But I can feel it, this is only the beginning. The Lord is still writing, still moving, still preparing what is ahead.
So this is my love letter to junior year, a year of being led even when I did not understand the path. A year of learning to trust, to rest, to not be afraid. A year where I found that goodness and mercy truly do follow.
And I cannot wait to see what He writes next.

Returning to the Dominican Republic with Casa Missionera for a second time has been nothing short of life-changing. To serve, to love, and to walk alongside such incredible people both new and familiar has been one of the greatest gifts.

God is moving in this country in ways beyond what words can capture. I have seen His love in the faces of those we served, in the hands that worked tirelessly beside me, and in the joy that filled each moment. Being the hands and feet of Jesus is not just about what we do it’s about who He is, working through us.
