☀️ LAUNCH DAY for Sense and Soleil ☀️ In 2019, I was diagnosed with melanoma. I was lucky to catch it early, but the experience changed everything. I knew I wanted to create something that made sun protection effortless, stylish, and effective. After years of research, sweat, and (lots of) tears, I’m beyond proud to launch @senseandsoleil —a sunwear brand designed to protect and empower. Our first drop features hats and bandanas made with UPF 50+ fabric, blocking 98% of the sun’s harmful rays. Each print is inspired by my travels—places that have left a mark on my heart. A portion of every sale will go to The Melanoma Research Foundation @curemelanoma because this mission is bigger than me and spreading awareness is everything. To everyone who has been there for me with advice, pep talks, design input, and hugs—thank you. If you’d like to support in any way—whether it’s a purchase, a share, or just some words of wisdom—I’d be forever grateful. This is just the beginning. Let’s embrace sunny days—safely… and don’t forget to #wearprotection With gratitude, A www.senseandsoleil.com #SenseAndSoleil #SPFButMakeItChic #UPF50 #SunProtection #igreels #femalefounded #femalefounders #femalefounder #entrepreneur #entreneurship #MelanomaAwareness #InspiredByTravel #chs #sunhat #beachwear by @arielpeche

A UPF Goddess (or maybe gremlin) How I protect my skin from sun damage on long drives as someone who has had melanoma… I know it’s nutty but hear me out. I’m aware sun exposure is inevitable and honestly I do in fact love the feeling of the sun on my skin. But knowing that there are times when I can’t escape the sun, I’d rather not waste that exposure when I’m alone in the car. It’s all risk and no reward. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk ☀️ *ps the sunscreen stick is spf 50 not 15 #upf #sunprotection #antiaging by @arielpeche
