“Without music, life would be a mistake.”
- Friedrich Nietzsche

It’s been many moons since I was a DJ but I’ve always been guided by music and I recently made a massive (26+ hrs) playlist of the music I’m listening to lately that makes me joyful and/or calms my nervous system while I work and while I’m home.

If you’ve been finding it difficult to navigate life as a conscious empathetic human and are looking for something to help cope with the unbearable heartbreak and madness that surrounds us all as we bear witness and fight for change, perhaps this playlist can help you too.

Spread love, humanity, kindness, acceptance, curiosity, joy and progress.. It’s contagious and it costs nothing ✨💛✨It’s our only way forward. ✨💛✨

Link in bio or screenshot and follow the link below for access to my playlist ✨sunshine✨

*note - Enjoy as it pleases you. Music is our one universal language ✨

“Chewing Gum and Chocolate“
by Shomei Tomatsu 📷

A defining portrait of postwar Japan, beginning with his meditation on the devastation caused by the atomic bombs, focused on the tensions between traditional Japanese culture and the nation’s growing Westernization. A counter-culture formed in response to the ongoing American military presence. He originally named this series “Occupation”, but later retitled it “Chewing Gum and Chocolate” to reflect the handouts given to Japanese kids by the soldiers—sugary and addictive, but lacking in nutritional value.

Valentine Schlegel’s hands and object.
Je Dor, Je Travaille
(I sleep, I work)

Our hands tell the story of our lives…. I’ve always been fascinated by hands and people that work with and create with their hands. It’s the first thing I notice always.
Hands are symbols of divine power and healing in many spiritual traditions, seen as conduits to the divine and healing energy.
If gentle kind hands could rule the world…🕊️
