The season’s not over yet, but Yankees fans have watched this movie before.

32 today 🎂 Instead of my usual sports posts I want to give you the truth about the last year.

After Papa Marty passed away, we found boxes of index cards labeled, “Nobody Asked Me But…” and he would write his opinions on some crazy things. I know nobody asked about the 31st year of my life, but for anyone who cares, needs inspiration or wants to relate to someone who isn’t going to pretend she had the “best year ever” this is for you.

Comment BIRTHDAY for the full write up of the year of struggles, how I got through them and why I slowly see the tides are turning.

I made it to MLB Network at 27. It was everything I worked for. Yet, I still knew I wasn’t done.

I’m Ariel Epstein — former MLB Network and NBA TV analyst, lifelong sports fan and the founder of Prop Queen Sports. I spent 10 years in sports media building toward a dream I’d had since 5th grade. When I finally got there, I realized the dream I thought I wanted, wasn’t the whole story.

Nobody talks about what happens after you get the thing you worked your whole life for. The moment you realize you don’t want a seat at someone else’s table anymore — you want to build one worth sitting at. That’s what this is about.

Comment DREAM below and I’ll send you the full story. The story I haven’t told yet about leaving my dream job — and the table I’m building for you to sit at instead.

Imagine getting hired at MLB Network without an audition! 🤯⚾️

That’s what Ariel Epstein says happened after Matt Vasgersian unexpectedly heard her show on SiriusXM.

But the real lesson? She’d spent YEARS building relationships with people at MLB Network before that opportunity came along.

Sometimes the connections you make today open doors years later.

Most people would never move because it’s too stressful, but the second I found my dream apartment, leaving NYC for NJ was a no-brainer because I had @roadwaymoving 🏡 Use code ARIEPST10 for a discount on your move!

Every group chat has the person with the “rules.” 🙄

Got knocked out early? So did we. Kelly & Ariel’s $5 Million NFL Survivor Revival on @splashsports starts this Sunday, and everybody’s back in the action.

I left NYC for New Jersey because of this 😍

I also left because of how INSANE the rent became. Got an extra bedroom and bathroom and these views for way less than one bedroom with no view in NYC.

If you ever wonder if you should shake things up because things get mundane don’t be afraid to take the leap! It’s always worth it.
