After 15 years of friendship, it’s so hard to put the way I feel about my Maria in a caption. Many of my friends and followers know of Alicia however she’s my Maria. An angel that God saw fit to watch over me, and guide me, and speak to me, and encourage me, and push me, and catch me every time I fall. It’s one of those friendships where you know you don’t deserve it, but you’re just so grateful to have it. It’s so rare to find someone who claps for and genuinely wants to see you win 🏆…….. I wouldn’t be able to do life without her.

If you know, Alicia, you know that she’s kind, compassionate, intelligent, generous, thoughtful, extremely ambitious, and just a beautiful soul. If you really know Alicia, then you’ll also know that she is fierce, strong, bullheaded, stubborn, pushy, bossy, and she’s just an overall no nonsense type of woman and I love every bit of it. One minute she’s my hype woman, the next minute she’s going off on me when I’m being lazy 🙄.

She’s the type to plan itineraries for your entire trip and set up official consultation meetings when you come to her for advice lol. She’s been known as boss lady since the day I met her. She’s like a 5 foot 1/2 inch ball of Trinidadian spices. But she’s my Maria and she’s been a blessing in my life since the day we met.
