🚂 2 Days Coorg Trip Under ₹2,000! 💸🏍️🌄

Started my journey from Chennai Central on the Kaveri Express 🚆 and reached Mysuru Junction. From there, took a KSRTC bus 🚌 to Madikeri, Coorg.

🏍️ Rented a bike near Madikeri Bus Stand for just ₹500/day (₹500 refundable deposit).

🏠 Stayed at Adobe Hostel (booked via Booking.com), freshened up and explored:
📍 Raja’s Tomb
📍 Madikeri Fort
📍 Abbey Falls (felt average for me 😅)

The places that really stood out:
✨ Raja Seat Garden
🛕 Talacavery Temple

🔥 The highlight of the trip was definitely the Mandalpatti Peak Jeep Safari 🚙💨 arranged through the bike rental. Cost me ₹600 and every rupee was worth it! The views were absolutely top-notch 🌄😍

🙏 Also visited the Golden Temple, Kushalnagar, which was truly next level ✨☸️

After an amazing 2-day trip, returned to Mysuru 🚌 and boarded the same train back to Chennai 🚆.

💰 Budget travelers can easily complete this trip within ₹2,000 (excluding the jeep safari). But if there’s one thing I’d highly recommend spending on, it’s the Mandalpatti Jeep Safari! 🙌

From a common private to a high-ranking general—transcending caste, religion, and rank—it teaches us that everyone is completely equal in death. You can see the Christian Cross, the Islamic Crescent, Hindu insignias, and the Star of David carved side-by-side on identical granite stones.
