The moment we became national champions.

I have so much to say about this past week. I’ll make a longer post with all of my thoughts once I gather them.

Just know that this exact moment will be forever etched into my brain. We did it. We actually did it.

Injury Update…

After going back to the doctors after the reinjury in Raleigh, they have determined it’s a partial tear in both collateral ligaments in my right hand pointer finger.

I honestly don’t know what this means for the next couple years. My recovery timeline is a year if I don’t touch a disc. I am not causing permanent damage by continuing to play… it will just continue to be painful. No injections or surgery for me. Just a doctor diagnosis to suck it up or stop playing.

Prayers are so appreciated. I am so blessed by the support I’ve been receiving through it all. It truly means the world.

That all being said, I am playing AM worlds. We leave tomorrow. I am so stoked. I am grateful to be playing, even through the pain. LEHGO. by @arigracetimm

LIFE!

Thank you to all the people that have continued to reach out to check on me and my bum finger. We’re still fighting to get healthy. Ideally, I will get better by the beginning of November.

The emotions are pretty impossible to express, but injuries are difficult and it has been a rollercoaster. It means the world to have the friends I do, and I’ve been having so much fun despite it all.

2026 PDGA Amateur Worlds - t9th

From not knowing if or how I was going to play this tournament to making the cut and a top ten finish, proud and grateful are the overwhelming emotions.

I did not make the cut last year, and it was my only goal going into this week. That and to actually finish this tournament.

Just that Friday, I could make it through nine holes of playing before the pain got me. To play five rounds and five decent rounds at that, I honestly impressed myself.

This marks what very well could be my last amateur event. We shall see. I will be taking some time off from flinging, and I move back to college this Thursday.

Aside from the disc golf, I had LOADS of fun. It was the week of new friends. From random Minnesotans to PDGA officials and the random Kansas girl, how disc golf brings people together will always amaze me.

I also got to commentate on FA1 Round 2 of WORLDS for my very first time. I learned a lot and had loads of fun. Thank you @greatestmediateam for the opportunity!!!

Thank you to my dad for getting me here. Thank you to everyone I had the chance to meet and the chance to reconnect with. Thank you to all of the faithful supporters who reached out this week. Thank you Jesus for the opportunity and the strength to finish this tournament.

4 rounds down at Am Worlds, and I am proud to say I am one of 16 women that made the cut.

Looking to leave it all out there tomorrow bright and early (7:30am is criminal) for the final round at Bond Lake.
