Once a fencer, always a fencer. Happy World Fencing Day! 🤺

For now, I’ve taken a step back from competition, without knowing exactly what the future holds. But when I look back on my journey, I’m proud that I became the kind of athlete I wanted to be: free, authentic, and willing to stand up for my values.

• 2 months of relationship = approximately 2–3 years in lesbian years and 1 year and 2 months in dog years.

By now, according to the stereotype, we should have already:

✅ Met each other’s friends and half the family.
✅ Talked about our future together.
✅ Exchanged keys.
❔ Chosen where we’re going to live. (We’re still deciding: the countryside or Paris.)
✅ Got a pet together (or at least talked about it). We solved it by sharing all three between us.
❌ Argued about whose turn it is to buy oat milk. (We don’t drink oat milk, and we don’t argue.)

What will it be?

chosen wrong?

When will my clumsiness
stop making you smile?

When will it turn
into irritation,
into fatigue?

When will the laughter
from the next table
sound brighter than mine,
more melodic?

that the woman
in the mirror

with me.
