I have spent the majority of my life, trying to dim my light and dampen my SHINE because it offended those who don’t shine quite as bright. My joy, my excitement, my love for people, and for life has consistently offended those who maintain a much more solemn and cynical perspective of life, humanity, and the world. I have been villainized, chastised, and slandered because of my cheerful disposition, willingness to speak up, and desire for clarity, if you can believe it! To believe that the desire for clarity could be seen as such an offensive desire! Since about the age of 12, I was encouraged to feel shame and embarrassment for the body that I naturally possess. The number of years I spent attempting to camouflage, hide, and even compress the body that other people were attracted to. Somehow that was attributed to some type of character flaw or sinful way within me, as opposed to an issue of theirs, with the body that had been designed for me by God! And you know what, I’m not accepting other people’s projections any longer! This is a decision that I made, and I’m sticking by it! I love myself! I love my life! I love this world as fucked up as it is! And as fucked up as humanity is at this point in time, I love humanity as a whole! Because I genuinely believe the reason humanity is as fucked up as it is, is because people did not receive the type of Love that they needed when they most needed it! I will no longer be dampening my shine! I will no longer be dimming my light, I will no longer be trying to hide all that is me, to make those who believe they are somehow inferior feel comfortable! If someone feels inferior, that is not because of anything going on within my mind, because I don’t view people that way! That is their issue, that is their problem, and I hope they choose healing! But if not, then I don’t know what to tell you! Because I am no longer accepting blame for the issues and projections of others! I have to admit, I love me! The way that I love me is so me!! I might just be a little bit obsessed with myself!!! And guess what, I hope that you can love yourself that same way! Because why wouldn’t you?
