URGENT
HIS NAME IS KAZEM ALI-NEJAD BARANLOU. HIS LIFE IS IN DANGER.

Another Iranian political prisoner is reportedly fighting for his life inside Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison.

Kazem is suffering from serious heart and kidney problems. Yet, according to reports, prison authorities have denied him essential medication, including insulin, and refused to transfer him for specialist medical treatment.

His condition has reportedly deteriorated so severely that he has developed wounds on his feet and can no longer walk.

HE NEEDS URGENT MEDICAL CARE. INSTEAD, HE IS REPORTEDLY BEING DENIED IT.

In desperation, Kazem has reportedly begun a DRY HUNGER STRIKE.

NO FOOD. NO WATER.

He has declared that he will continue until his demands for medical treatment are met.

For someone already seriously ill, this could rapidly become fatal.

Imagine being so desperate for medical attention that you feel your only remaining option is to risk your own life.

HOW MANY MORE IRANIAN LIVES MUST BE PUT AT RISK BEFORE THE WORLD TAKES ACTION?

No human being should have to beg for life-saving medication. No prisoner should be denied essential medical care.

According to reports, Farzadi, the head of Evin Prison, and Nayeri, the judicial official overseeing political prisoners, have been named in connection with his case. Their responsibility for his access to medical treatment must be investigated.

KAZEM NEEDS IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION.

We urge international human rights organisations, the United Nations and the world’s media to investigate his situation and demand urgent action.

Kazem is not just another name or statistic. He is someone’s loved one. A human being whose life deserves to be protected.

HIS LIFE MATTERS. HIS NAME MATTERS.

Please share his story before it is too late.

IRANIAN LIVES MATTER. HUMAN RIGHTS MUST NEVER BE SELECTIVE.

FRANCE, KHOMEINI AND THE IRONY OF HISTORY. 🇫🇷

In 1978, after Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini was expelled from Iraq under Saddam Hussein’s regime, France welcomed him and provided him with refuge in Neauphle-le-Château, just outside Paris.

This location became an ideal base for international journalists to reach Khomeini, giving him an extraordinary platform to spread his revolutionary message to the world.

Following the collapse of the Pahlavi government in February 1979, Khomeini returned to Iran with France’s assistance, aboard an Air France flight, and seized power.

WHAT FOLLOWED CHANGED IRAN FOREVER.

In the years that followed, France maintained relations with the Islamic Republic, despite criticism of its double standards and its failure to give sufficient attention to the voices of the Iranian people.

NOW, THE IRONY OF HISTORY IS IMPOSSIBLE TO IGNORE.

In this archival footage from 1980, Khomeini can be heard urging the Iraqi people to rise up against Saddam Hussein’s government.

He calls on them to paralyse the economy, refuse to pay taxes, withhold payments for water and electricity, organise demonstrations, march through the streets and even attack government property.

And now, decades later, France itself is witnessing the very kinds of protests and civil unrest that Khomeini once encouraged the Iraqi people to undertake.

THE SAME FRANCE THAT GAVE KHOMEINI REFUGE AND AN INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM IS NOW CONFRONTING SCENES THAT ECHO HIS OWN WORDS.

For the Iranian people, who have lived with the consequences of the 1979 revolution for nearly five decades, the historical irony is difficult to overlook.

HISTORY HAS A WAY OF COMING FULL CIRCLE.

She gave children the gift of music, art, and imagination. She taught them to dream, to create, and to find their voices.

Today, Zhina Ahmadi, founder of Zhilemo Music House, is the one who needs our voices.

According to reports, she has been held in detention without access to her family, phone calls, or a lawyer. Her loved ones have been left waiting for answers.

A woman who filled children’s lives with music should not be met with silence.

Behind every detention is a human being. A family waiting. A life interrupted. Dreams left unfinished.

She helped children find their voices. Now it’s our turn to use ours.

WHO WILL SPEAK FOR HER?

Do not let her name disappear into silence.

HER NAME IS HOUNIA NAZARI. SHE IS JUST 21 YEARS OLD.

Twenty one. An age when she should be enjoying university, making memories, chasing her dreams and looking forward to her future.

Instead, this young Iranian woman has reportedly endured unimaginable cruelty at the hands of the Islamic Republic.

Last summer, Hounia was arrested by intelligence forces in Iran.

During 17 days in custody, she was allegedly beaten, psychologically abused and threatened with sexual assault.

She then spent approximately three months in prison, reportedly denied contact with her family.

AND EVEN AFTER HER RELEASE, THE PERSECUTION DID NOT END.

Her university education taken away. Her business reportedly shut down. Physically attacked in public. Her car vandalised. Her safety constantly threatened.

And now, she has reportedly been sentenced to MORE THAN ELEVEN YEARS IN PRISON, along with a substantial fine.

Her sentence has reportedly been upheld on appeal.

ELEVEN YEARS OF A YOUNG WOMAN’S LIFE.

For what? What could possibly justify subjecting a 21-year-old woman to such cruelty and destroying her future?

WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?

WHERE ARE THE VOICES THAT CLAIM TO STAND FOR WOMEN’S RIGHTS?

WHERE ARE THE HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS?

Why does the suffering of Iranian women receive so little attention?

Human rights should never depend on nationality, politics or whichever cause happens to be trending.

HUMAN RIGHTS ARE UNIVERSAL. THEY MUST NEVER BE SELECTIVE.

Hounia is not just another name or statistic. She is a young woman with dreams, ambitions and an entire future ahead of her.

HER NAME IS HOUNIA NAZARI. هونیا نظری

SHE IS ONLY 21. HER FUTURE IS AT STAKE.

Please don’t look away. Speak her name. Share her story. 💔

Arrested on 9 January 2026 during the protests in Bagh-e Bahadoran, Isfahan, Masih was transferred to Dastgerd Prison.

They ordered him to shoot his own people.

He refused.

His name was Majid Nikandish.

A young soldier who chose humanity over obedience, conscience over fear, and honour over his own life.

For refusing to turn his weapon against the very people he had sworn to protect, he was sentenced to death and executed by hanging.

He didn’t ask to be remembered as a hero. He simply refused to become a killer.

And perhaps the most heartbreaking part of his story is not how his life ended, but the final words he left behind…

“Mother… please forgive me.”

How does a mother survive those words? How does a nation ever repay a son who chose its people over his own survival?

Majid, they may have taken your life, but they could never take your honour.

You did not fire. You did not betray your people. And you will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, brave son of Iran.

We will never forgive. We will never forget.

Some people wake up and say, “Thank God for another day.”

Me? I haven’t even opened my eyes yet and I’m already yelling “JAVID SHAH!”

Doctor says there’s no cure.

I told him, “Who said I wanted one?”

Javid Shah! Long live Iran!

THE CYBER TROLLS ARE OUT IN FORCE!

Apparently, mocking Iranian victims, dismissing eyewitness testimonies and ridiculing grieving families is what passes for intellectual debate these days.

Notice the pattern? Fake looking profiles, endless laughing emojis, personal insults and an extraordinary determination to discredit Iranian voices.

Questioning evidence is one thing. Mocking human suffering is quite another.

When you have nothing of substance to contribute, apparently laughing emojis will have to do.
