God, Thank You.

Today, I’ll be graduating with Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a double major in Public Health and Health Systems Management.

The journey to get here was not easy but well worth it. All of the stress, late nights, studying, and prayer got to the day I’ve waited 5 years for. A special thank you to my parents, siblings, family, friends, fiancé, Charlotte staff, and professors for supporting me throughout this journey in every way imaginable. Lastly, thank you to myself. I did it! Works without faith is dead, I worked hard for these degrees. Now I’m two degrees hotter ;)

A best friend is the person you know will always have your back. Tishera is that to me.

You did it! You graduated!

Tishera and I met on the first day of college ever at UNCW in UNI class. The freshman class, and from there, we have been and will continue to be the best of friends. Seeing us grow from the crazy freshman we were to the ladies of God we’ve become today. Cheers to the future, I cannot wait to see you flourish in life and grow up.

Cheers to the next chapter, from Seahawk to Wolf Pack.
