Tron Ares is online! It's now about 15 years since I first watched Tron Legacy in theaters back in college, and it's insane to have the chance to be even a small part of the series that got me interested in computer graphics to begin with.

And this time is special, since it's not just as a compositor, but also doing some motion graphics work! I got to animate that display panel on the Dillinger bikes (designed by the absolute legend @gmunk ), plus some fun challenges like the Super Recognizer screen array and the F35 interface. Beyond humbled to be listed among the many (many, many, MANY) talened people at @ilmvfx that made this film possible.

These are, in no particular order, some of the shots that I got the chance to work in, get ready for lots of pure industrial red neon.

Ultraman Rising is finally out!

This was my very first gig at @ilmvfx and an it couldn't have been with a better team; the amount of creative freedom and openness we had is something you don't see on every show, and I think you can see that reflected on the end result. As both a compositor and a long time Ultraman fan, I'm immensely grateful for being a part of it. These are some of my favourite shots that I got to work on (without spoilers!).

Hope everyone likes it as much as we all enjoyed working on it!

Thunderbolts* (or The New Avengers) is out now on streaming! And I had the great fortune of working with a Wheaties box-worthy team of super heroes at @ilmvfx , both in compositing and as a part of the lookdev/postviz for The Void. While the project was at times challenging, I was thrilled with the end result, it's got some great character writing and an absolute certified hood classic of a score by Son Lux.

These are some of the shots I worked in, it's not much, but it's honest work!

A bit late with the vanity post, but hey! I had the chance to work on Transformers One as part of the @ilmvfx compositing team. These are some highlights from shots that I got to work in. Really happy with how the project came out, congrats to the rest of the crew!

Told you it'd be soon.

This is the first EP from my side synthwave project, OTOMO. It's a horror/Halloween-themed thing made from bits and pieces of other songs. Like Frankenstein.

Links are on the linktree as usual. Hope you like it!

As you may have seen, I make music sometimes, and, as of yesterday, Myocardium is available to stream on (almost) all platforms, links are in my bio linktree aggregator thing.

It's a bit of an older song, made around 2020 under a different name, but never released until now because, well, I kinda lost the master file for some time.

Hope you like it! And expect more music to come very, very soon. by @ariramirez.exe
