This experience is turbulent, constantly ebbing and crashing in an unpredictable maelstrom of feeling and opportunities. Good days flying high followed by emotional implosions. The best we can do is put out kindness and keep our spirits soaring, thriving to grow our flowers in the cracks of societies concrete ideals. We are different, strange and beautiful, abstract creative beings of dream. by @ariserawk

“Poignant prayer”
Painted live at @thedenportland at a @goopsteppa show put on by @tigerfoxpresents. Acrylic and spray paint on canvas.
.
Painting live is so special, playing with the energy flow of the music and crowd, creating inspiration together on the dancefloor. Literally one of my happy places.

Was sooooooo fun busting out a live painting last night at the @tigerfoxpresents event featuring @goopsteppa . Been a min since I got to lock in and paint while dancing and playing with all my favorite people. Live painting is such a freeing experience, not having to worry about perfectionism, just allowing the paint and music to lead you on a journey. The vibe dictates what gets created, and what ever happens happens. Haven’t come up with a name for this one yet, any ideas? by @ariserawk

Going hard in the paint and smashing some spray heat for a dance performance backdrop for @rejoicediasporadance, lots of the supreme Portland crew will be dancing and sharing art for the event. #BreakinPortland make sure to check it out. Big ups to @firekatg and @friedmelonartstudios for lacing up the session. Felt good to snap a piece.

Still one of my favorite art pieces I have ever done. Would love to get some more mosaic tile projects.

Had a good time teaching a painting workshop for incarcerated youth with the @keysbeatsbars program. I used to do a lot more non profit work and youth work, so it feels nice to be giving back. This was the second one I have done with this program and really like the team, hoping to do some more of these. by @ariserawk
