They both said I’m not allowed to give a speech at their weddings. 🙄🤣 Tuh! I’ll still be giving my speeches lol.

But in the meantime… God has a special way of blessing me with the people I need, exactly when I need them. They often start off as friends, and then, one random day, they become family.

We’ve lived what feels like a full lifetime together already. To have people you can truly be yourself with—while also growing at your own pace as they do the same, both together and apart—is a rare gift. It’s the kind of connection that should happen more often. These are the people you can laugh with, cry with five minutes later, and then laugh again immediately after. The people who see you, value you, and hold themselves accountable for the way they care for you.

To be valued—really valued—is a feeling that fills my heart instantly. It’s more than words; it’s love in action. I’ve realized that being valued is the clearest visual representation of love. With these people, I never have to question if love is present—I can see it, hear it, and feel it in everything we share.

I’m grateful for the people that we’ve been and I look forward to the people that we have yet to become. Growth isn’t just about the destination—it’s about the journey we share along the way. With these people, I know that journey will always be filled with love, laughter, and moments that remind us who we are.

Seriously, think about your own gifts—what you bring to the world. Think about how you hold yourself in high regard. Then think about the people who hold you just as closely in that same light. That’s love. That’s the kind of love that reminds you of who you are and shows you just how much they see in you.

I’m so grateful to see it, hear it, and feel it in every moment we share—good or indifferent, because bad just doesn’t live here. 💐❤️ by @ariwright

Blessed to see 33!!!🥳🎊 Life has taught me many things & I took in all the lessons!!! I wouldn’t take anything back if I could & there’s real peace that comes with that! If there’s any advice that I could pass on it would be…

1.) Keep God first
2.)Love yourself, know yourself & trust yourself
3.)Always bet on yourself if you’re gonna roll the dice on anything.
4.) Any points to be made don’t be scared to prove it. 5.) Look good when you do it!!!

I usually prefer to be in the cut but God requires differently from me in this season. I was blessed with skills that can’t be reduced down to a single title & for a long time I tried to force myself into a box out of normalcy. The reality is that I’m not normal! I’m an extraordinary person with an extraordinary mind. I don’t have a niche because I am the niche. I’ve done a lot of awesome things that I’ve never put on display…Unfortunately nothing great comes from comfort zones so here I am at the African American Mayors Association Conference. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity for @cnicoleagency to be a sponsor. God truly does open doors that no man or woman could! by @ariwright
