Living off cereal and girl dinners since I started drumming and content creating 3 months ago. 🫠 by @ariya_grace

Switching from visual learning to listening first. Here’s the 3-step process my teacher recommended:

🎧 Step 1: Deep Listen — Focus on the whole song. Map drum fills to lyric cues so you always know where you are in the track.
☁️ Step 2: Air Drum — Lock in the feel and spot the missed transitions *before* picking up sticks.
✨ Step 3: Hit the Kit — Only sit down at the kit after running steps 1 & 2 at least 3 times.

Can confirm learning the drums will change your life. 🥁✨

As a beginner drummer, learning this chorus today took about 3 hours. Now to learn the rest of the song. 😅

What’s the one thing sitting on your “someday” list? This is your sign to start today. 💫

I promise I’m still having fun over here. Not quitting. But also pass me that bottle of whiskey real quick. 🥃🙂‍↔️🖤✨ by @ariya_grace

I picked up the drums and started creating content for fun, but no one warned me that I’d also end up needing and wanting to become a sound engineer! 🫠 Fully down the rabbit hole now, wanting to customize my e-kit sounds, upgrade my setup, and learn how to properly record and mix. by @ariya_grace

Yes, I’ve been practicing Brain Stew for 7 WEEKS now! Beginner season is SLOW and repetitive. 🫶✨🐙🥁 by @ariya_grace
